North to Alaska on La Rose
On this day thirteen years ago I set out from Seattle with my friend Doug Johnson to deliver the beautiful 44' motorsailer La Rose to Ketchikan, Alaska. It took us 11 days to make the transit taking our time. It was a beautiful voyage. Miss you my friend!
