North and South Korea join roads after 14 years

North & South Korean soldiers meet at border to reconnect a road between the 2 countries.
It's part of joint efforts to exhume remains of soldiers who were killed during the 1950 Korean War.
It's the first road connection in 14 years made as part of an agreement signed in the latest inter-Korean summit.
The 1.8-mile-long tactical road has been built on the battle site of the war at the military demarcation line in the demilitarized zone

They are fanatical and will fight to the last man. That is more fair, less likely corrupted. One branch could be corrupted. However, the other branches of government would have to keep it in check and like in the USA if the people have the right to own and carry firearms a revolt or revolution would force the government to keep it's self in check.

actually, if I am not mistaken, there is a video in KZread where the most elite soldiers in NK wear near-present day gear, making it seem that it is exclusive for those hand picked. I believe it's for the ones protecting the Supreme Leader and his family in their quarters. I also saw a documentary where it sort of leaked it in a ceremony as well, showing them about a few seconds. Possibly it's footage they didn't want to show thinking they're powerful, but nonetheless still weak to modern day technology and gear. With all due respect that is.
