Trust me!! The crowds was way louder. They went nuts actually. I sat in the middle of the rows near the stage and she had the best performance. I just stumbled passed this video today even though she performed for this months ago. Tv production tuned out the audience so we could hear nomani clearer in the video for when she talked or when music was playing

Even her backup singers says she was live singing ! When she executes her performance people have to add something in it. Y’all only seen just a lil bit of her in fifth harmony. When she slay y’all think it’s to good to be true.

Anyone criticizing her for using playback needs to realize that both Michael and Janet Jackson used a heavy amount of playback in their live shows when they were dancing.

@Hanne Karin Bayer he never did use playback. But he sure he’ll lipsynced a lot. Half of the history tour set was him lipsyncing. I’m not knocking him though because out of the three tour world tours he’s been on as solo artist has had at least 70 tour dates across the continent. The Bad tour had 123 tour dates and sung live the entire time. Shoot that’s not even counting his work as apart of the Jackson five. I’m surprised he didn’t suffer from even more vocal damage.

She’s devoted to music in levels I can’t even begin to understand. There’s no one out there like Normani and I’ve waited so long to see people recognizing that... I can’t even believe it’s happening. Just watching this routine for the umpteenth time and just had a new epiphany. As I watched her this time, I was trying to determine what sets her apart from others who have given a tribute to Janet by way of dance and song. That "IT" Factor is what sets her apart from other tributes: 1) awesome performance overall, 2) she was very engaging with Janet--she often looked over to her and smiled, and still remained focused, 3) she embodied the routine by making it her very own tribute to Janet with little subtleties--no overkill, and 4) she danced and sang with so much presence, by pouring her heart and soul into the tribute. It wasn't just her dancing and singing, we and Janet witnessed her entire spirit and essence of the performance emit powerful energy. We are proud of Normani. She is really set apart and distinguished in the industry. She is setting the standard very high. 🚀🚀🚀

I would prefer they did it that way. We know the girl can sing. We've seen her do acapella many times over. So for me I don't care if they don't sing live sometimes. Especially if they're going to be doing some major dancing. You can even give me a few live songs at a concert and I'm good. I rather see a good performance, rather than an artist dying/out of breath from trying to sing and dance.
