the springs allow the fan clutch to be engaged when you remove air from the air chamber. You're not supposed to open the clutch pack.
Good video, thanks. But the big problem is to disassembly used fan clutch (central screw), could you show or just tell how you do it.

The other day I just rebelled one , new kit did not have pressure plate clutch it was drum clutch so half the stuff goes in garbage but when I took it a part there was allot or small springs what I do not se in this video
