Huskies are super hard workers when you ask them to do what they were bred for. They're sled dogs. They don't care to do tricks, they want to run.

Or just get a mutt mixed with half German shepherd half black lab and border collie they don't stop either my boy is 55 pounds and stronger than my 85 lb bully and I don't honestly know how many hours of work it takes for him to be wore out.

Huskies are extremely strong and athletic, and fully capable of doing what the first dog did... ...if they feel like it. 😂

I know huskies are athletic, but you need to check the markers on the distance again. That's an impressive jump for any breed. The different colors on the border are about 10 yards. That's a jump of 90 to 100 feet.

@@randalthor2229 it was a joke. However, even though I couldn't find an exact distance, a dog that can run over 30 mph and has a six foot vertical is jumping a lot farther than 20 feet. I could hit 20 feet in long jump when I was running varsity track in highschool and I sucked.

Honestly, I didn't think the Husky jumped that far. His back feet did leave the ground though, so I guess he was 'flying' for second. On the other hand, the first dog was pretty good, even if it was slow mo. If you run it at normal speed, it only went half the distance. :-)

That first dog wouldn't last 5 minutes pulling a sled in −40°F snow. They all have their own skills.

That huskie is hunting for sure. In Germany we even have a name for that kind of jump. Its called "Mäuselsprung". All kind of hunting dogs do that to catch small animals. I really would like to know what its called in english.. I cannot find any translation but you can find pictures if you search for that word.

With husky owners keep shaving all of their fur because "it's hot in the summer, I want my husky to not feel hot", the brand new fur coat is shit quality, so I don't think huskies with owners like this can survive in snow. Of course it's just a thought. I would need someone to test it out to really confirm it.

My uncle was working as a security guard when a huge husky casually jumped into his open car door and refused to leave. He called the number on her tag and tried to locate her owner but there was no response . He kept her for the rest of her life.She was highly trained and protective and must have been a police or military dog at some point. She was also very jealous of his wife, and domineering to everyone except him! If he made her sit in the back seat if the car,she would softly growl and stare at whoever was sitting in the front passenger seat until he'd tell her to shut up. She was too aggressive with other dogs and too active for city life so he moved them out to the country.People would call the police because she loved to sleep out in the snow no matter how cold it was outside. Unfortnately she died fighting a mountain lion over a squirrel that she had caught and refused to give up,but she never backed down from anything.
