    The fact that Polar Similar does not have any samples and was made live by humans, is beyond phenomenal. Top notch engineering. So many guitars filling the wall of noise in headphones. All noises and instrumentals are cutting through. Insane engineering. I love you Norma Jean, for the wall of noise.

    I recently had a run in with deleting myself. That line. "The loneliness of God." I've created a lot. And standing at the abyss ready to jump. I never felt more alone looking at my creations. The road I've doomed them to. The limits they'll break. The joys they'll find. I couldn't bare to leave them. But still. I understand.

  • @tkkotbo.9284
    @tkkotbo.92844 жыл бұрын

    The path to ascension _is_ lonely. That's why for the purest of hearts, he split them into two halves of one soul... So when people begin to clash with the orphaned twin as they start to align with their Creator, through this journey to awakening they eventually see how desensitized this world has really become. It's a bittersweet victory; to feel unfuckwithable and unbothered by the mundane worries of the world knowing how to navigate through life's lessons. We're able to see challenges instead of obstacles, opportunities instead of oppression. But it's a knowing very few understand much less are even open to experiencing firsthand. It's impossible to relate to the behaviors we were programmed to believe were unchangeable or normal in others. We live our lives stereotyping others based on outwardly appearances or segregate those with opposing beliefs, that once we start to see beneath our own mask, we realize how every single person we thought we knew was hiding beneath one too. Our authenticity will always fall on deaf ears once we learn how to express our truths because their ego will never accept responsibility for the hypocrisy they navigated through their entire lives. Explosive defensiveness is justifiable, insecurities accepted rather than questioned, and projecting them onto us always reading too deeply into our words that have no hidden meaning behind what was said and accusing us of ideas we never even had. It's hard to feel like you belong anywhere when nowhere feels like home. We are the minority, so to ensure we never had to feel the lonliness He has felt since creating us given our free will, he made two halves of one whole that would eventually collide and fill this void so we wouldn't have to walk this path alone. Apart for a time, but never alone. We'll always find our way back home. ♡||♡

    Love this song, don't get me wrong, but for me it's a glorified intro : there are so many good songs on the record, why this one (and 1,000,000 Wattssfor the matter - tbh I left a similar comment on the video for that song) as singles/videos? I don't understand... Anyway, one of the two best metal albums of 2016 with Low Teens from Every Time I Die in my opinion. 2 great bands, who released 2 of their best albums the same year!

    Drew Vrede It could be what Bobby said, but what I get out of it is, if you imagine the actual loneliness of an all powerful god, a god to which nothing else is even close to in any regards.That god having this vast amount of knowledge and power but no one to truly experience and share it with. To me, thats pretty damn lonely.

    To Replicate Extintion, So what you're saying is these bands are just lemmings or sheep that won't do something new for once. That's how I understood your comment.

    Bands have been doing that for over 30 years and you really wanna knock NJ for it?

    I absolutely HATE music videos that are just the band playing. It's a complete waste of time and effort. A music video should tell a story.

    This is a bummer. I think I will call it djent-core. I might like it if they didn't use the typical djent bass tone and lame drum "samples". I say "samples" but I only mean that it sounds like a kit on any random djent album and those bands are notorious for triggers
