It's so cool seeing that he uses the same technique as his father. He may not be as strong, but still.

It will be available in (exactly) 72 minutes. I had to reupload because one of the background music (which is a cover by SirFrost666) was too good. :D It claimed as a copyright issue, because ot seems original for the system, but it was only a cover. Thanks for your understanding.

Is it me or does his snatch look a little strange? Can't put my finger on it. Definitely works though ;)

I thought the same. He seems to lack overhead mobility or something like this and also has a narrow grip, maybe that's the reason. But it "definitely works though ;)"!

I think the reason is that he tries to have an extremely straight bar path which results that he don't uses the contact on the bar like for example a Wes Kitts, who pretty much "hits" the bar(it makes noise in the contact). Look on norik's Instagram he does a lot of "no contact" work.

He uses the same technique of his dad, probably because his dad taught him so, and also works very well with his proportions like it did with Yurik.

Meanwhile I saw tian tao clean 225kgs and snatch 180kg at 85kgs. Why are American weightlifters so weak compared to other countries? 🤔

Death By Pseudocide really bad leverages, technique, time lifting, dont start as young as the chinese or europeans

  • @democratusnostradas

@Death By Pseudocide thats such an extreme comparison. Why even propose that? when most 94kg lifters dont lift those sort of weights even. Also tian almost bombed at the olympics and bombed at worlds the year before. sure he lifted those weights, what was his bodyweight when he cleaned 225? i highly doubt it was under 85kg haha. Ffs, cleans 225 and bombs at 211 clean and jerk. Norik was a good 94kg lifter and there is no sense comparing someone like tian to him. why cant tian snatch a new world record? why cant he beat andrei rybakou's record - its the same argument..

because other countries get more support, better coaching, start at a younger age and they get paid to fuckin lift. Americans need a full time job to support their lifting.

Imagine thinking norik isn't a good lifter. His lifts are top tier technique wise because he was trained by the greatest weightlifter of all time, his dad yurik vardanian. He also started lifting in Armenia and eventually moved to America.
