Footage from two winter days along Norfolk Southern's Pulaski District (former Norfolk & Western "Bristol Line") across the scenic Blue Ridge Highlands of southwest Virginia, while heading towards eastern Tennessee.
The Pulaski District is a timetable east/west mainline between Radford, VA and Bristol, TN along the I-81 corridor through the Blue Ridge Highlands. The line primarily handles manifest and intermodal traffic between Harrisburg, PA/Norfolk, VA and Knoxville, TN/Birmingham, AL.
