Great video, Thanks. I absolutely love the Helm 1 compact, structurally as tight as a drum and free standing, no flapping in the wind, look at the sag on the Zephyros! which is also tricky to pitch. For my its no competition, Helm is a different class.

For us we've always found it a hard one to call as it dependents on your personal circumstances and preferences.. The Helm is as solid as a rock but more weighty.. We do find the Zephyros has a more usable porch which feels bigger than the Helm.. but of course if head room is important then the sleeping compartment is bigger with the Helm.. Stu has both and still can't really decide but for me I've tried his Helm and found it abit to unnecessarily big for me plus as I'm quite small and not very strong I don't like carrying the extra weight lol. I really do think it comes down to preference but I know most people prefer the Helm.. Between us we've had the Zephyros 1, 2, 3 and compact and they do all pitch tighty when not on a fairly bad slope which unfortunately I was pitched on that evening as Stu had already taken the best spot! 😄 Thanks for watching 👍

That spot right on the top of the dunes we'd had our eye on for quite some time but was always just abit too windy to want to try it.. so glad we did this time, the view as I'm sure you'd agree was spectacular! Glad your enjoying our WW2 stuff.. they're absolutely our favourite videos to make and we have plenty more planned for this year just as soon as the nettles and brambles die back abit.. Great video once again , thanks for taking me along and thanks for giving me some tips on how to improve my videos Ps if you mix your powdered milk in a little hot water first it stops it going lumpy

It's an amazing experience waking up to a view like this with not a soul in sight.. You really can't beat it.. Next time we should read the directions on then powdered milk.. the lumps did settle after a while! 😆

Sorry Carl.. yes I believe Wild Country and Terra Nova do a couple of tarps called the Adventure Tarp and a utility porch which I'd imagine is compatible with most of their tents and I've heard is very good, we prefer not to use tarps when wild camping but do have a cheap version for emergencies 👍

We started off sharing just one 2 berth tent but find it easier to have our own these days for a few reasons, mainly being that you have more space to yourself and don't disturb the other person by clambering all over them if you have a call of nature during the night.. and yes Stu does snore on the odd occasion lol 😆

You need to make sure you're not camping on a protected site, eg National Nature Reserve or Site of Special Scientific Interest
