A year later. Curious on a follow up video to new feature like adding 2FA Key, etc. vs. other password companies. IE: Better now or worse.

Nord Pass doesn't let you delete your account. You have to go through their admin team and it's next to impossible to delete your account, they make it very difficult. And they send you emails on the free version saying your account has been breached but you can't see the info on the breach unless you update to a premium account. The moment you start a Pass account and a VPN account they link each other, and it's hard to delete one without the other...you also have to log into your 'Nord' account before logging into your Pass account...so you have to remember two passwords....Nord Pass is a sketchy dumpster fire of frustration in my opinion...Nord VPN is fantastic though....just leave it at that

Thanks for the Nordpass Services they are really the best like others all of those password managers you just gotta practice goodly and greatly to improve your security skills and prevent online threats from you and yet they are the best I really love my favorite password managers! It keeps me stay safe online hehe ^^

It made it very difficult for me to make any changes. For example, when I set up 2FA on Nordpass, suddenly all of my NordVPN apps stopped working and it was ridiculously difficult to log back in on all devices.

I have some issues with Nordpass: 1. You must first establish a Nord account before creating a Nordpass account. That's two logins to remember. 2. As far as I can tell, although you can create folders, there doesn't seem to be a way to create subfolders. 3. There are no custom fields. You will have to make do with the Notes field. 4. In order to use the browser extension, you will first need to download and install the desktop application. Why is this necessary? Compared to BItwarden free, this service doesn't really measure up. I have my quibbles with Bitwarden, but for my uses and preferences, it is leagues ahead of Nordpass.

How did you manage that the logos I.e. are showing. If I want to create for example the Facebook password it shows FB but not a logo. Thanks for your help.

Good video, but nordpass is based in Panama not Cyprus and secondly one pro for me is also that it is not in a five eye country.

To your criticism that you cannot search from within a secure note, that is not entirely true. From the website, you can access your secure notes, and using the Ctrl-F text search function of your browser, you can indeed search within your secure note. It is actually one of the few things I really like about Nordpass. This is something 1Password cannot currently do (although Bitwarden can).

Imagine how Chrome Password manager can compete with these all very good password managers only with one feature enabled and that is auto lock. Unfortunately they are not that flexible. By the way, thank you for your review, very vell explained and reviewed. One thing I missing is review of Android or iOS app and autofill implementation here. TY

Recently I discovered, that if you have set up Windows password, then locking of Chrome passwords work under Windows password, so you must enter Windows password before Chrome unhide passwords for you. But I am still thinking that separate password solution, based purely on Google account password would be a better option, at least when are using Chrome under your Google account.

@@tomashons90 That is super easy to defeat, and if the passwords are not being synchronised to an account (local only, no sign-in) then the passwords are saved to an actual file on the computer that can be copy-pasted to another device. At which point the passwords can be unlocked using the second device's windows password, so you don't ever need the original windows password... Chrome stores passwords really poorly if the attacker has access to the PC that they are on

It's essentially an encrypted database, so it works for anything you want to store securely.

NordPass kind of sucks. I guess I'm not using it properly. I have situations where it doesn't fill in automatically but the logo is showing. Not sure why that is. On the list of passwords, it always moves the one you are in to the top of the list. Jumping around is confusing. Also, when I'm on an existing site and I want to create a new better password, I can't seem to do that using the Password Generator. When I click on the Password Generator, it creates one but it doesn't populate the site I'm trying to change the password for. I end up with different passwords. And the whole connection and what to do with Google Password Settings isn't even discussed here. It would be nice to know exactly the steps involved and the order to basically replace the Google process with something like NordPass.

Well there's actually one that worked for me. Just search for NordPass coupon on KZread, there's a video by a channel called Tutorial Daily, it shows you how to get a big discount. I've tried many others but that was the only one that worked and it saved me a lot of money on NordPass.

Wouldn't it be a good thing to have to login to nordpass every time you use the browser extension in case someone steals your computer?

Sure...but that can be done without having it tied to the desktop software. Other password managers like 1Password and Dashlane do this well.

Finger weg unter Linux - Seit einiger Zeit haben die deutliche Probleme mit der Anmeldung an den Dienst (eine Mischung aus Linux-Programm und Internetseite). Das Programm fragt die Mailadresse ab und ruft eine Webseite im Browser auf in der man sein Account-Passwort eingibt, nach dem dieses für ok gefunden wurde wird man an das Programm zurück geleitet - wo man das Hauptpasswort für den Tresor eingeben sollte (keine Ahnung warum die das so kompliziert machen). Auf jeden Fall funktioniert dieser Wechsel zur Eingabe des Hauptpasswort zur Zeit nicht. Stattdessen wird wieder die Mailadresse abgefragt, dann ein neue Webseite aufgerufen - wo dann festgestellt wird dass alles schön wäre, weil man ja schon angemeldet seit (Great - you’re in! You’ve successfully logged in.), wieder Wechsel zum Programm - das allerdings wieder nur die Mailadresse wissen will. Schwupps hat man diverse Browserfenster auf - nur in nordpass angemeldet ist man immer noch nicht. Und der Support meint nur wäre halt zur Zeit nicht anderes und man sollte halt die Passwortdatenbank im Browser aufrufen.

There are tons of them. My two favorite VPNs for mobile devices are Surfshark and ExpressVPN.
