I like how his character was always just so happy to be there. He just wanted to be part of the team; so sincere and earnest.
Must have been a blast for Lupus to do this. After all the years of playing it straight on Mission Impossible.

I got a kick out of Nordberg.
4:40 the detail of the keys falling from the ceiling. Most scripts would have overlooked that potential joke. This is why Police Squad was a classic.
The mime scene is one of the funniest I have ever seen in a movie/series. Peter Lupus was brilliant. I laughed for half an hour and always laugh when I think about this scene.
7:29 that looked like a hard hit, but he still maintains his composure. Good work, Nordberg.

When that last bit of ceiling falls on him, I don't know how he stayed in character!

Love the part with the "coke"..kills me every time. One of the best and most underrated comedy's of all i think. Because the "big audience" did't get the jokes.

Nordberg is a great part of the Police Squad series.. I love the charades sequence!
Just an aside from Peter Lupus's great work, but I always love that quick aside with the car while Nordberg's high as a kite.
I've been doing this backwards my whole life. I saw the Naked Gun when it came out in the theater in 1988 when I was 11. My Dad took me and it was the first time I laughed so hard out loud in the theater I thought I was gonna puke. Obviously my Dad knew the connection of the Naked Gun to the Police Squad series and subsequently Airplane, but at that time was too young to have seen them or remember them, and youtube was still 20 years away. Fast forward to 10 years ago when I finally bought Airplane on DVD because everyone had said how Naked Gun was so similar to Airplane. But I still hadn't seen Police Squad. Now I have. And the whole thing fits together, and it's funnier now than I think it was back in 1980!!!
Nordberg is the greatest charades player!
Both sides of Peter Lupus: ultimate strong/unexpected funny. I think the filmmakers should ask him to play more comedic roles.
I was so glad to see Lupus having dialogue and some fun in a show. In Mission..., he'd have maybe 3 lines then he'd be stuck in an air shaft for the rest of the hour.

No. OJ Simpson's oldest son actually did it,who had an obsession with Nicole Simpson. Unlike OJ, he didn't know one salient fact about Goldman: He was gay. If OJ Simpson had done it, he would have let him go, first, and then attacked Nicole, not attacked them both in a jealous rage.
