This song is not based on Hindu or Sikh religion this is based on Islam it's Punjabi Muslim religious folk song. sung in modern day Pakistan . AR Rehman is a fan of Muslim folk songs which are now obsolete. example (Kun faya Kun) he cannot take credit because it's not his song but it's modified by him in modern day beats. It doesn't say Naam ram ka 😂😂 it say nam Rab ka which is (ALLAH) it say nam sai ka which means (ALI) ALI IS THE SON in law of prophet SAW and symbol of strength, fearless, not hesitating, that's why he is saying chant the name of Rab which is (ALLAH HU AKBAR) AND CHANT THE name of ALI which is (YA ALI) it will give you strength and fearlessness to do whatever you want to do Nooran sister are also the fan of mola ALI that's why they are singing it

@@believer4368 umm, ok i admit i misheard the lyrics. However, that still doesn't change the representation. Rabba is a term used for God, it's used in Hindi too, it doesn't denote any religion. However, the line "Sai re" clearly refers to the Hindu saint Sai Baba who preached to both Hinduism and Sufism. Even muslims follow him. Not to mention, even Sufism in Indian subcontinent originated from ajmer India. Also, the song also gives a metaphor for peepal tree that it's worshipped but never kept in house, which very much refers to Hindu teachings. Patakka guddi is a folk song sung in all of Punjab, both sides. Even though punjabi muslims also sing this song, it doesn't change its origin, that is from Sikh teachings. Not to add, A R Rehman is an Indian, the singers both are from Indian side of Punjab, and even the lyricist is Indian. But to be fair, you can claim the song to be Pakistani too, since it's sung on both sides.

the agenda here is so obvious lol. Sufism came here from Persia and even has roots back to arabia around the time of muhammad's companions. You're trying to disassociate it with islam when this is literally punjabi sufi music. Sikhs respect Sufi saints as well, it's a part of their culture as well. The Sufi saints and poets were a big part of spreading islam in Pakistan and Northwestern India, especially punjab. Yes the song is from Indian Punjab but stop adding false stuff on top of that
