@@phonicstream9740 You missed something, all of the battle tanks and recon tanks literally spawn on the map before only. If you spamall your helicopters and go to HQ at Fort Strongholm, you will see that there are 10 Battle Tanks just waiting there along with some Recon Tanks at the outpost area. In the parking lot area of HQ actually.

There is a difference between spreading out your army and just sending guys into the wilderness, often defined by their capability to get to supplies

Battle Bayrom really was hell. I think we should get the Red Iron Cross skin as a reward for beating Battle Bayrom on Tryhard.

I always wanted to do these maps but now it’s updated but lane to dead end easy as hell just spam infantry and go through the mountain the BT isn’t a problem it just takes a while to get through the mountain

I just played this on tryhard and i used gunships to weaken the enemy defenses. And then i just watch a 34 kill colonol wreak havoc. The battle tanks are no problem, i made them cant move.

I once had a light gunner that killed 5 rangers, best part is new buff. so with no cool down and hidden behind grunts is a ranger shredder for sure.

One time i managed to get into a round of colonel invasion which was on tryhard btw and me and my team managed to beat it in 36 turns i have heard of 25 turn victory with helicopter spam but i have never heard of a run of colonel invasion where it was beaten in less than 80 turns

I say APC because the forest terrain makes vehicle combat harder and you may need the extra infantry instead of IFVs weapons

Yeah, but vehicles one tile speed in forests and inability to enter mountains put them at disadvantage

I got a tip for map 2 just buy a bunch of helicopters than rush mid they won't have enough anti air and you can just use missiles and machine guns to wipe it out

I watched this after completing woodland skirmish (solo tryhard except for strongholm because i'm NEVER TRYING THAT AGAIN) good video 👍They replaced the rr with missile tanks before i did it and it made it about 4 times worse. Also, me and some guy managed to duo strongholm tryhard after our teammate left by some miracle of god 😂 (I friended him because you have to do that after finding a competent NiC player who doesn't have bad internet) Edit: wondering why you use missile tank and you didnt use battle tank (if you did i barely saw any)

fun fact: i beated colonel invasion solo normal, the loadout i used are (filtered by price): -Light gunner -RPG -Transport truck (aka Lorry) -Supply Carrier -Recon Tank -Light gunship -Mobile howitzer what i did was spamming infrantries and using 2 light gunships for rockets. I started transporting after capture the town centre(like you said).Recon tanks and mobile howitzer were only be used during late game. With Colonel, Cobra and other infrantries, i somehow rushed the game with idk turns before battle tanks start to destroy colonel. Tips: when clearing bunkers with recoiless rifles, use rpg for that and make sure theres not any units except armor eater.

@@phonicstream9740only if you cap the town square, then cobra will soon come in with IFVs, veteran commandoes and a Commando V2 (which was a default unit name to ranger) aka herself which I managed to probably find a picture of herself as a Commando V2 and probably wore a ragged jacket and a shirt that only covered her upper torso which i wouldn't show due to youtube reasons which I felt like it could be censored (Which I find I hated on her)

you also forgot that ifv can shoot helis too very well

Second mission has decent air defense so that means we send in armored forces first to neutralize AA bc otherwise it could destroy your gunship in a turn

belris is hell even worse than anything else immortal bombers with infinite fuel and bombs rain on u followed by x ray hacks that let them target anything important like commando or tank then elite specials keep spawning only won because I kept all my tanks in reserve and in last 10 turns when they were near HQ bombers suddenly spotted 10 tanks hiding in trees and decided that tanks > HQ

And this is average difficulty for all sweaty tryhardist strategy game players!

Man idk if its just me but most of the custom maps that are only in the testing server are just annoying. Lights out takes way too long, battalion is hit or miss, and the guest invasion looks like hell. The half life campaign is better than all of them.
