dude i can’t imagine what it’s like to create something and work on it for 6+ years, and then have to pitch it and be so vulnerable, and THEN u perform in in front of an audience for the first time and have to just wait to see if they will love it or tear u to shreds. I don’t doubt him for being scared 💀

This reminds me of a group project on talking/ singing/ acting and only you and one other person sounds enthusiastic and everyone sounds dead inside

Ikr they cleaned it up so much for Broadway. Listen to my shot in the workshop, they say 'shit' about 100 times

I like how Angelica wonders if Alexander will ever be satisfied by saying "Will he ever be satisfied?" instead of "He wil never be satisfied." It would have fit in perfectly with the story.

ItsLiz no, Utkarsh Ambudkar played Burr in the workshop. Look it up. See himself and Leslie have similar voices but you can even hear the distinction between them

i think the only real thing i miss from the workshop version is the "And hamilton is nooon-stop!" before his whole 'corruptions such an old song that we can sing along in harmony-'

Honestly, the quality of the workshop version is ten times and more, of course, worse, and obviously, that's understandable, it's beyond belief that they did such amazing job performing it live in broadway. Bravo. I applaud with my feet, knees, hands, even y buns.

Leave sounds more final and distant than go I have to go is soft sounding also lead rhymes better with leave than go creating a consistent rhyme scheme

to everyone upset that they sound unenthusiastic: this is NOT a cast recording. this is NOT a broadway performance. this is the result of what was most likely exhausting months of work, and it is NOT a finished product. the point of a workshop is to test things out, to give people time to get used to the material. it's not supposed to be perfect, that's the point. and to everyone judging them for being tired, I'd like to see you try to rehearse and perform a 2+ hour show multiple times a day. they are trained to be able to do that with enthusiasm and energy when it is necessary, and it is NOT necessary during a workshop
