I'm pretty sure the last two trailers aren't actually Overwatch trailers, but trailers for Heroes of the Storm, which is also owned by Blizzard. I'm pretty sure that game is a combination of all of Blizzards characters but I don't think there's an actual story/lore to the game. I don't play it so idk.

@@nickspencerfishingrodd2383 me too, and actually every time that a random citizen is treated that way too, i think "How do we know that guy isn't a veteran? A martial artist? Maybe they practice parkour?" We couldn't really know in a majority of cases, it's just probability, but probability isn't proof at all, it's literally just a guess based on what is most common.

This popped up on my feed and I couldn't be happier. Just binged you reacting to all of the Overwatch cinematics and I'm so addicted! Thanks for putting in the time and effort!!! Well, time to watch more!

13:03 The "dragon" story was somewhat of a metaphor. He's a _literal_ dragon, but he can control some kind of spirit-fire-dragon thing. Same with the Green Guy (Genji).

Woo glad you liked the current end of the Overwatch cinematics. Some clarification on the last two cinematics, they are from the blizzard game Heroes of the Storm. Basically Blizzard took characters from the universes of all their games (Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Starcraft) and have them fight it out. Also, the Angel lady is Mercy, she is a Swiss doctor from the original Overwatch team and she hasn't been in any previous trailers.

Like other said, the last ones are Heroes of the storm. The red dragon is Alextrasza. She was super important in one of the novels, too. She's the guardian of life, which is why she turned the arrow into flowers. In Warcraft, some of the strongest dragons have a "human" form they can take. Alextrasza is an elf.

Very important to remember the last two aren't canon to the overwatch universe, but I'm glad you enjoyed them regardless!

that long video put 2 heroes of the storm cinematic but forgot to add the single most important overwatch cinematic out there. you must watch junkertown: the plan. a true piece of art

Hanamura showdown and Dragons of the nexus are cinematics to showcase genji/Dva and Hanzo/Alexstrasza being added to the game Hearos of the storm (HOTS) which is a game in the same genre as league of legends/DOTA, in HOTS you play on a team of 5 people and you can pick heroes to play from all of the blizzard franchises that are in the game, you have loads of characters from the warcraft universe to pick from, Diablo franchise, overwatch, Starcraft franchise as well as some unique original heroes designed for that game exclusively (Orphea and Qira), as well as an old character from one of blizzards first ever games 'the lost vikings'. the character that genji/Dva were fighting was prime evil diablo himself which is one of the heroes you can play in HOTS, but for the purpose of this cinematic he was chosen as 'big bad' for genji/Dva to beat up on while they did their voice overs, until blizzard started scaling back on the game it used to have a lot of cool cinematics and stuff for each hero they added to the game but after basically putting the game into maintenance mode they stopped doing that due to no staff/budget for it anymore.

Genji-sama coming in clutch, with that "On your left" save!!!

The last two trailers were Overwatch-related trailers of a game called Heroes of the Storm. HotS is a MOBA game similar to League of Legends and DOTA, where the characters are actually famous characters from all the blizzard games (Blizzard is the company behind overwatch, world of warcraft, diablo, starcraft and so on), so, in the 2nd last trailer, Genji and D. Va were fighting Diablo himself, and in the last trailer, Hanzo was training with Alexstrasza (from World of Warcraft, hence the long eyebrows like Sylvannas) who's a mage that can become an actual dragon...They were training cause they were preparing for Heroes of the Storm, for a fight with a mish-mash of heroes from all the different realms (games). the first cinematic is the last one from Overwatch, that is on current time(all the others cinematics are set in the past), and it shows the group reforming to face new threats, the one with Diablo (the red Demon), and the one with Alextraza (the girl Dragon), are cinematics from another Blizzard game, that is a crossover from all its games, Overwatch, Diablo, Starcraft and World of Warcraft(where Alextraza is from)

I can see sometimes one big confusion on her face... That's how it is when u watching cinematics not chronologically and from different games... "Hanamura Showdown" and "Dragons of the Nexus" are character trailers for Heroes of the Storm game... And "Zero Hour" is trailer for Overwatch 2...oh well

Second and third was from the game "Heroes of the Storm" - compilation of all blizzard heroes fighting each other (MOBA game... League of legends or DOTA is the same type)... So in 2-nd and 3-rd cinematic was heroes from overwatch and red demon is - Diablo... the environment is reference to different game scenarios: Japancy style = Hanamura Temple\ With dragon - im not sure... it can be Dragon Shire... i can't recognize where this portals come from

The last 2 videos are from Heroes of the Storm. It is a game where blizzard collects the characters of all their other games to put them together and fight each other to destroy the enemy nexus ^^

The big red guy is Diablo the Lord of Terror from the diablo games. The red head with horns and the unpractical outift is Alextrasza from WoW, shes the queen of the red dragon flight and aspect of life. Also, i wouldnt worry about her ouffit, she does have dragon scales for skin.

The last two trailers are for Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard's MOBA game that combines all of their characters from Starcraft, Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo, etc. in a battle over "The Nexus" which brought them all together there.

I didn't see anyone mention it but the girl you asked about in the first video you didn't recognize is Brigitte, she was in the Honor and Glory Overwatch cinematic asking Reinhardt why he felt he needed to go back to Overwatch. She is his goddaughter and daughter to one of the playable Characters in the game Torbjörn. She was a newer character added towards the end of the first run of new characters.

if you're confused, the last two clips are promotion clips from Heroes Of The Storm, a MOBA game that reunites all of Blizzard's well know franchises : the red dragon in the Genji clip is from Diablo, the Dragon Woman is from Warcaft, and the "portals" in the end of the last clip are cruisers and nexus from the Starcraft Universe. This is not part of the Overwatch universe

I know I'm kinda late, but have you watched Shooting Star yet? It's about D.VA, the Girl inside the Mech flying to the giant robot above water in the second short and coming to help Genji in the third short. Also, you definitely should react to the character's in-game voice lines, there are compilations in KZread. They are sometimes funny, and add depth to the characters and their relationships with each other. Also, some characters can sing in a certain map, there are compilations of those too.

The one you asked about if you know who she is, you've not really seen her yet. That's Dr. Angela Ziegler (sounds like Angle-a Zeeg-ler), a Swiss Doctor who was a Overwatch Medic known as Mercy. There is the rather obvious reference with her to being an 'Angel of Mercy'. Also, when I first saw Zero Hour, I was like, "No, no, no!!! You aren't going to kill Winston!!!" and cheered when Genji appeared.

1st video was for Overwatch...the other two are trailers for new (at the time) heroes in Heroes of the Storm.

The last 2 trailers were promotional trailers when a few overwatch characters were added to another one of blizzards games called heroes of the storm. They aren’t “cannon”

From what I understand, Overwatch characters and locations are showing up in other games.

In the trailer from Heroes of the Storm the woman is Alexstrasza the Life-Binder. She is the Queen of the Red Dragon Flight. She is from World of Warcraft.

11:12 that is Diablo. he is from another World. The game is called Diablo. Look it up. awesome game and Super Awesome Story. 14:28 its a game called Heroes of the Storm. where the Best Fighters from different worlds fight each other to test their skills and see who is Strongest. or something like that.

11:10 This is a trailer for a crossover game Blizzard made. Genji and D.Va are actually fighting Diablo! The game is called Heroes of the Storm and it includes characters from every Blizzard game in a kind of deathmatch arena. The idea is that there is a kind of dimension-hopping going on bringing all these characters into 'the Nexus' to fight each other for reasons. The trailer after that also includes Alexstrazsa, who is a dragon from World of Warcraft. The lady in the beginning is her human form.

You should watch the Heroes of the Storm cinematics (the first cinematic and HotS 2.0) and others. They have Warcraft, Starcraft, and Overwatch characters in the same world and its made by Blizzard as well.

The last two videos are for Heroes of the Storm, which uses characters from multiple Blizzard games to battle each other in a 5 vs. 5 team fight. The very end showed The Nexus, the plot gateway between realms and where Heroes of the Storm takes place. As an aside, you are looking off camera to the right, while the video you're watching is on the left. Switch sides and your eye gaze will be toward the video you're reacting to, and it will be the same part of the screen your viewers are looking at, which makes it more like we're watching it together.

Thing about Overwatch is none of the stories is actually in the game other than some data files. There is comics and videos to put the story together. I am hoping Overwatch 2 has more actual story to it.

If you haven't already I'd reccomend checking out the character specific trailers for Moira, Doomfist, Hammond, Sigma etc.

That Heroes of the storm must confuse you 😂

Ah yes, Overwatch trailers. People refer to Blizzard as a movie studio that occasionally makes games, and Riot (creators of League of Legends) as a Music Studio that occasionally makes games.

Hanamura showdown and Dragons of the Nexus cinematics are for a different game called Heroes of the Storm. Blizzard who are the creators of all these different games like Overwatch, Starcraft, Diablo and World of Warcraft put all these characters from those games into this one game. No real story there tho they just wanted to make their own MOBA game without having to create any new and unique characters.

@@HannaHsOverInvested Good fun, wasn't it? :-D If I had Overwatch, I think I'd be a Junkrat player. He's just too madcap to pass up!

The only thing you're missing now are the Origin stories, which are cool too but don't expect a full CGI animation like all those others trailer you've already watched. And like many people has already told you, the last 2 cinematics aren't really "Overwatch canon" they are trailers for another Blizzard game that uses all the company's characters for a MOBA

There is some more videos ! Origins : Sigma Origins : Echo Origins : Junkrat and Roadhog Origins : Soldier 76 Origins : Tracer Origins : Wrecking Ball Origins : Ashe Aaaaaand I think that's all ;) But you should see TF2 vs Overwatch videos, they are funny

what you're missing gets cleared up in the game itself you have the jist which is more than enough to know the story

You should totally start doing Elder Scrolls Online cinematics. They're dope as hell and tell a story related to the game like the Overwatch ones. Except you won't quite understand the context, yet they're like a movie so they're viable on their own again like the Overwatch ones. Loving these reaction videos though. Nice to get a fresh perspective from someone who doesn't know the game, lore or story behind something they're watching.

I second the ESO trailers. No(t much??) voice acting, but they tell a decent story of the three factions. Daggerfall Covenant all the way, btw.
