When Twice were first described to me I thought, "not my thing". Their infectious energy, positive messages and genuine bond as a group are so refreshing. Instant serotonin boost.

Plus, I think what separates them from groups who do cute concepts is I don't think they forced it, I think they naturally are on that vibe and they grew into their more mature concepts with time

Embarrassing to say, but me too--AND I was living in Seoul when they debuted--Aiiigooo lol. But, I finally turned off the preconceived notions aspect of the brain & let the ears + eyes take over... then, the heart jumped in and now they're my absolute crack!~

Same here, back when I got into kpop twice were still stuck with that cutesy image, and I was so hesitant to get into them. I think the first song I heard was T.T and it went from there. Instant seritonin boost, the colors, visuals and their songs make me happy lol

Twice are seriously one of the best groups out there! They have that authentic Kpop feel and positive energy weaved into their music. Which is something that seems to be missing from the genre as a whole these days. Their growth as artists & individuals is so inspiring, and the girls are all so authentic, hardworking, talented and humble. The strong bond between the members themselves is also a big reason as to why they are so loved! I definitely recommend watching a guide to get to know the girls individually! And also maybe starting by watching all their title tracks by order of release - this way you can watch them bloom into the amazing artists they are today😄

I agree that TWICE is different than other KPOP Girl Groups as far as their songs. Plus their music is so feel good and catchy.

The more you learn about Twice, the more you'll love them. It happened with me.

They actually referenced three Twice songs on this title track, one is the obvious "Yes or Yes" and a B-side "1-10". And them saying not to push and pull anymore is a callback to their most famous song "Cheer Up" where the main concept is the push and pull of a relationship. There is also a sub-unit song from their most recent album which is directly titled "Push & Pull" 🥰 And yes, Twice is indeed a deep deep deep rabbit hole to get in 😂😂 but it's a fun rabbit hole to get lost into~~

People think oh I’m not gonna like twice cuz they’re too cute and happy. Just for the opposite to happen and it’s what we NEED these days cuz music has lost that happiness and charm. Just feel good music with deeper lyrics than the song would you have believe - especially in their b sides. Thank you for the react!

Talk that Talk is definitely in my top 4 TWICE songs of all time! The others being "FANCY" (of course), and "Feel Special" and "Alcohol-Free" which you absolutely need to react to next! And for a full album review, the Formula of Love album is so insanely good! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 😍

twice is what got me into kpop and I'm still here bc of them.. they have this way of making you feel good and you never get tired of it, not only with their songs but with their personality too. they're still the only group I watch content from besides mv's and albums, these girls are just amazing, their chemistry is great, after all these years they always let us know that they are family! i hope you get to see more of them whether through variety contents or albums, it's worth it 🥰

The most popular Twice guide 2023 : Who Is Twice? A Dive Into The Living Legend! It has everything you need to know about twice from the beginning, including all the member’s names and characters. The other guide (2022 or 2024) mostly only focuses on the members, their characters and discography written by each member,, is a good guide but incomplete because there’s no history of Twice itself as a group and becoming one of the biggest ggs worldwide.

I think it would be cool for you to watch their killing voice performance. It has snippets of a lot of their singles as well as b-side tracks.

Without TWICE Kpop would not be the same❤❤❤Try to watch "Feel Special" or watch the Twice guide you definitely fall in Love even more😅

Helpful guide to twice 2022 is better, simple & more informative & entertaining

TWICE is the best GG in kpop and one of the biggest WW! They're the best selling and most awarded GG + their discography is VERY vast, diverse & unique, they try all concepts and always trying new music genres, that's why they're diff from the others.

Definitely check out a guide for greater context (I'd say before getting into full albums). Others have mentioned it, but "Who Is Twice? A Dive Into The Living Legend!" for a documentary-style summary of everything and "A Helpful Guide to Twice 2022" for a non-narrated breakdown of the individual personality traits/strengths. The MVs are more enjoyable when you're familiar with the different members, roles and talents. They're one of those groups where all the different members are legitimately pretty iconic celebrities with very distinct personalities, with a lot of humorous in-jokes, charisma, and memorable moments between them. They also have a "Killing Voice" segment that's probably the best showcase of them singing live-- it samples bits and pieces from a lot of their biggest hits in mostly chronological order. Great way to win people over to them in general.

Yes!! Check out their albums as well!! Twice discography are ready a gem, they have sooo many really good songs as bsides. You won't regret. You could start with their first album (ep actually), Story Begins, or with one of their full albums. For the full albums, I highly recommend "Eyes Wide Open" , it's my personal favorite. For the minis (or eps), my 2 favorites are, "Between 1&2" (TTT is the main track for this one) and, for a summer vibe, "Taste of Love" .

Absolutely love this title track - that prechorus still hits every single time. One Spark (their newest) would be great for you to see them where they’re at now :) same charm but somehow turned up even more

The Instagram post from the QR code is actually the one where they first announced the fandom's name (Once). This particular song was made during a period when the group's contract was about to expire, so this era was designed to either be one last hurrah for Twice and Onces in the event the members decided not to renew their contracts, or a return to form in their musical and visual style as a celebration for having come so far if they did choose to continue as a group (which was the case), making tons of callbacks and references to their previous work.

'talk that talk' from 'between1&2' with Y2K concept (as ref. from 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' k-drama that when rock & hip-hop collide in south korea, and the EP. reference it well, for example 'queen of hearts', or 'basic', actually all of them. :P you will find a lot of music reference in, and i kind of call this EP. a tribute to that era.) again a solid EP. have a good day. :)

I love seeing you get more into Twice! There's a reason they're so enduring, and they really have a beautiful bond even years into their career 😊 If you're interested in other girl groups/female soloists, I'd recommend you check out projects from the former Loona members! I LOVE Loona but their former company treated them awfully and fans boycotted to help them all leave. So I wouldn't recommend you watching those official MVs and maybe giving that awful company money 😅 BUT the final one of the members has now released her own solo stuff and it SLAPS. The 12 members are now in other groups or solo, and much of their music still relates to their original lore. They're still close, and often still thank Orbits (Loona's fandom) as well as their new fandoms, which is so touching 💕 My personal recommendations to start with: Chuu (soloist) - Howl Loossemble (5-member group) - Sensitive ARTMS (5-member group) - Birth Yves (soloist) - Loop (ARTMS is a made up of five members. Three of them also release music as Odd Eye Circle, you could watch their track Air Force One. The other two also work as soloists, Heejin's Algorithm is gorgeous as is Haseul's Plastic Candy.)

From what I can see, we are the same age. I guess you're busy, but I strongly recommend you to listen to one of Twice's albums. Its name is "FORMULA OF LOVE". I'm sure you will add some songs from this album to your playlist and listen to it over and over again. Listen to this album when you go jogging, doing sports, traveling, or doing a job. .. Note: My least favorite song in the album is the title track :)) The b-side is that good..

in my opinion, to get to know the groups better you should start from their debut so as to also see the change and improvement they have had over the years... only in this way will you be able to appreciate them better.. then I recommend you take a look at the Everglow

Ok you came back in two weeks, well done. The true magic of Twice music is their Bsides so you should absolutely do an album this will also make you focus on the song instead of the M/V. All Twice music, no matter the actual content of what the song is about will make you smile it's what makes Twice different, they are pure serotonin. My suggestion would be start at the beginning with "the story begins", my opinion Truth is the best song. Also it would be a good idea to do a guide, the best one about Twice and why they are the GOATS (he uses the word legends) is "who is Twice a dive into the living legends" by jaytzuu it's a complete over view of their career, for just the girls I would recommend "a helpful guide to Twice 2024" by likeooh-ah (not the 2022 by mingmina). I will enjoy your fall down the rabbit hole I made the journey over 5 years ago and have never regretted it for one second. OT9 forever (TIMELESS).

For me Talk That Talk immediately skyrocketed to be one of my top favorite Twice songs, but I think when looking at the scene at the time of its release, I believe it kinda got lost in the shuffle between Blackpink’s double-comeback after 2yrs absence and NewJeans’ continued debut-era domination of the general public’s attention (no pun intended).
