Yes, that's his wife Morgane. And to think that it is because of her that we can now enjoy him! They met when Chris was the janitor in her building. She saw something in him and the rest is history. He started out writing songs for other artists but, again, had it ot been for his wife who convinced that he should write his music for himself and perform it himself, we would have never heard him. Yaaay for awesome wives! This man touches everyone deeply in our hearts.

I absolutely love this song. My husband and I spent 25 years together in the Seattle area and 6 years ago we threw it all to the wind and moved to my family in North East Tennessee. I feel this song to the core.

Of course everything Chris Stapleton sings is fabulous. His wife Morgan does a lot of songs with him. The way they harmonize together is incredible. Some other groups/artists I think you may enjoy are Home Free, Blake Shelton, Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Darius Rucker, Dan and Shay, and Brooks and Dunn.

Love the reactions. Another really good country artist to try is Tyler Childers. My favorite songs of his are nose to the grindstone and whitehouse road. The our vinyl session versions are the best. His voice is raspy and very soulful.

Y’all should do Tyler Childers. Also from Kentucky. I’d suggest…maybe Whitehouse Road or Coal. Maybe Way of the Triune God which just came out. He’s got so many good ones it’s hard to make a suggestion. He’s one of my favorites.
