Gig, thanks for going through the settings in a reasonable speed so we can follow. Too many people go through settings demonstrations way too fast

Steve, Yet another excellent and informative video from you. One note on beach stability. You might want to lower the stability setting of 5 unless your machine is noisy. From the Legend manual: The stability can be set between 1 to 5. The default setting is 5. Level 5 will offer maximum stability. As the stability is increased though, the signal of lower conductors such as gold with 11 ID may diminish and the chances of missing these metals will increase. This setting has no effect on mid to high conductors. I run mine at 1 and the detector is quiet. Keep making those good finds! Bill

After that lesson I am ready to get out to the beach. Thanks for the great tips for sound adjustment. I felt that the lower ID tones weren't as loud as the higher ones (nickels vs. quarters), but when the Legend locks, I know now that is good. I tried the BC reject and dug zero iron bottlecaps. Thanks again and enjoy the cruise!

tried your beach settings at a Lake Michigan beach in northern Illinois and they worked like a champ for getting at deeper stuff. Really like the way pitch tones works. Thanks for sharing.

Went out yesterday with my ledgen for the first time and found more in 3 hrs than with my at pro in 8 tries. Definitely checking in out with these settings. Thank you for a helpful video.

I was very confused about these settings and called kellyco tech support and was told ( you just have to figure it out ) Your video is the best I have found in explaining the settings and what they do. With my Equinox 800 if I get too much EMI on Beach 1 Sensivity 20, then I change to Park 1 and 10 KHz and sensivity 22 and most of the EMI goes away. I still get good results similar to the multi frequency mode.

Just a tip. If the target sounds good but you get no depth reading dig it I've several silvers that are deep this way

Your video showed me how to overcome the biggest issues I had. The biggest learning to me is that the beach is damn loud, I didn't expect that haha, so I will use a headphone next time. thx gig.just got mine and still learning. the thing i noticed is beach wet dont see gold necklace and gold pendant but on beach dry it reads it. tried diff setting but still same. i use beach wet like you cause its quiet but gonna try dry again.

Gig, in response to your question about Legend battery life. I have had the Legend since it came out and it's my go to detector. I haven't had any battery life issues BUT that charging connector needs to be screwed all the way in. I usually start screwing it in then pushing the connector then screwing again and repeat the process until the connector seats all the way up. Hope this helps.

Sir! All I can say is thank you very much, again and again and again. This program is just unbelievable. The depth I'm getting on the beach even with the 6" coil is just incredible. I am digging small coins as deep as 20 inches and that is the honest trough. It's incredible how the pitch tones tells you when you are hitting a deep target. It literally whispers to you. Tha ks for this video, Ive just subscribed. How do you actually set all these settings so they don't change ? If you switch off the Legend and switch it on again are all the settings in place ? Or do you make a Beach profile ?

They will stay but you can make multiple profiles to go to also.

Picked up used legion was a demo machine at a store don’t need new used better for being on a budget but first one with a clock then an hr meter only see them on lawn tractor that’s a first after you been doing this hobby like you gigmaster 40 + yrs

How did you get beach mode to sound like gold mode,?

I got a few hits this week that were giving me numbers, but no indication of farrous or non farrous, should I dig them? It just solid beeped and told me simething is there but did not indicate the ring symbol, so I passed on digging. Also, thanks for video, had my setting wrong.

Both have great electronics and both are good for the beach but I like the shaft, connectors and Nokta company better.

I use the legend at our fresh water beach. But when I am in the water I get very strong and good low number non ferrous signals. For sure is a good signal. But after a couple scoops with the scoop, no more signal anywhere. It is completely gone. This happened about 10-15 times. Does anyone else experience this?

Happens with all detectors the target may turn sideways or go deeper. Keep scooping!

Great job! 🧲(((🪙 Those are solid settings and you made it easy for everyone to understand. I pulled a 14k white gold engagement ring with a extremely nice diamond on it yesterday with the legend. I had found 4 rings with the Manticore (1 gold 10k, 2 silver, and one tungsten) and run the battery flat. We to the truck changed to the legend and went to a different location on the beach and pulled the engagement ring... Was an awesome day detecting! (Also emptied my trshbag 5 times still a lot of hurricane debris and now fresh trash from people on the beach.)🏖️🌊

Good information however if you could turn down the volume of your machine next time so you aren't blowing out our eardrums when you go over a target that would be appreciated.
