@@GTA4650 I'm on 5 2017 too. Given original 5 and 6 comes with full amount of sensors, I'd say 5 (2017) -> X10 and 6 (2017) -> X20

This channel does more for the Nokia brand than their own marketing department...

I would say it treads the line of 1st phone, Enterprise phone, back-up phone. Definitely more of an entry point. It has its place for sure. It's a step up from a base model. But it is just that, a phone to get you by. It's pretty much a disposable phone that can be left in the background. It's the kind of phone id take as backup on holiday or to use as a dedicated hotspot. Great video. I really liked this way of presenting phones. Specs really don't matter and I'm tired of hearing about them. All we need to know is how well it will serve each group of user. Cheers and look forward to the next✌️

This phone should also be good option for those who are entering into Android world from a feature phone.

This is a great review. My mom got this a few weeks ago, and it's perfect for her. I'm getting it as well because I don't mind the drawbacks as I have a console for gaming. Once again, awesome vid, I'm definitely subscribing for more.

I gave up on high end phones years ago as I'm not prepared to get ripped off with their rediculous prices. I bought a G10 and in very happy with it - remember, you get what you pay for, you can't spend $120 and expect a high end device, but for what this is, it's a very nice phone especially for the low price.

@@Kfyu902 I haven't used it in low light situations, it does have night mode which is strange for a phone of this price , but don't expect the pics to be like A34. The camera in good light is ok for the price, even inside not bad, but again don't get your hopes too high.

Try doing a factory reset in Settings if the phone becomes sluggish after updating to Android 12 but be sure backup all of your data first. It worked with my G10.

Thanks for the advice, i just need a cheap smart phone with good battery so I'll try the G10. I did try the Moto E7i but it wouldn't even function with the HSBC app 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Nokia mobile is taking a lot of time to release its phone in market after launch event because of which the hype dies and really affects the sale of the phone. If its possible for you to contact any Nokia official and discuss about this issue, I think it would be great. By the way great video! Keep going! I know amid pandemic its very difficult for them as well but other smartphone companies are delivering their products and it feels bad to see Nokia lagging behind.

I just bought this My Nokia G10 Christmas Day (2021) Newly but I discovered that the battery does not last a day at all... Despite I charged it before using to 100% full... So what can be done to make the battery last long as written on it?

Love the review. Though, Nokia?! Compass. Why you no compass?! This would have been a killer travel phone for me as I use my phone mostly for normal "work" and travel. For that last one though, a compass would make it so much better as apps for showing things in the sky don't work without the compass :(

Kudos Abdullah, for mentioning in the first 40 seconds who this phone model is for👍 There are lot of KZread videos which shows very average performance from both G10 and G20 which is not good. C series will be worse 😐

Genius move to make the video for the same audience the phone is made for. People forget that not everyone wants a top of the line supercomputer in their pocket. Some people want a decent non complicated phone.

G 10 they are like series 2, G 20 Series 3, x10 Series 5, x20 Series 7, Or how would the comparison be?

I think this is perfect first smartphone for parents or grandparents. Good battery, easy to navigate menu, medium camera, looks simple, medium speed.

I'd put it as OS-upgradable C series as far as my usual rant is concerned. if hmd fixes that in future G series, then I'd say this is a decent redmi replacement for those who dislikes ad in home screen and package installer, else it's a decent secondary phone. I like how it doesn't have camera bump though but wonder if it has the same thickness as 3.4/5.3/5.4. Maybe a big request, but if you have time maybe do signal comparison against older models. I still have that skeptical view on mediatek RF quality where it can drop signal worse than qualcomm counterpart, let alone fighting for connection in a congested wifi/3g/4g network.

1st october 2021 Just bought today and i am very happy. Nokia is love. It took me 10 hours to setup the phone to my preference. I sat on my computer after dinner to setup my phone and transfer the backup i had and i slept after 🌅 sunrise. 😆 Edit: it lasted 27 hours straight with excessive use on single charge. Fuck! 🤣

How do you change to standard mode as my camera wont zoom thank you

I have this as a backup phone to my primary samsung Z fold 5 . Having it for long distance driving and flights. Might come in handy if i for some reason lose my primary phone or run out of battery on my samsung. It is super slow, buggy.

I am always a fan of smartphones with huge battery capacity which is why I alwas go for Zenfone Max series. I just bought the G10 and I am okay with its performace so far

Great review, just what most of us need in our every Day.

I bought my son the G10 for £109 but think that I should have bought a £139 G20 instead. The G20 is only slightly faster than the G10 and so speed is not an issue. However, the G20 has a much better camera and so I wish that I had paid £30 more.

It's kind of a shame that Nokia doesn't have a lot of pull in the United States. We are pretty much just fed Samsung and Apple as the only brands that we should purchase.

It's actually not bad for the price. After using an A50, it's quite a drop in quality but I'm still enjoying it. 😊

I seem to be having a problems with my messages I use the chat abd sometimes it wont send and asks me if I want to change it to SMS but then when I tap that does not seem to do it how can I keep it as SMS texts and my friend says sometimes when she messages me it says I am off line but my phone is on hope you can help me resolve this?

Hi Wendy, is this when you're using the messaging application or on whatsapp or another messaging app? For a quick fix, try long pressing on the messaging app, click on the "i", then storage and cache, and clear the cache.

Why phone updates take so long? I wait it more than 8 hours.

Hi Abdulla. Great review. I wish I’d seen this before I bought the G10. I haven’t got a contract, so rely on WiFi for connectivity. Ive noticed in pubs or buses, where the WiFi is through the cloud that my G10 doesn’t connect and shows the WiFi status as “saved”. Any idea how I might get it to connect? Ive tried “forget” and “modify network “ but neither works. Thanks.

@@AbdullaZaki not it India. Here a major population is under 30 years old and people look for specs throughly before buying. Problem comes when other phones do all the thing a nokia does and some more on top of it.

My G10 will not work with the Bluetooth in my car. Even though my car says the pairing was successful, nothing comes through and then my car gives the message that the Bluetooth connection is not stable. My previous phone had no problem, and other people's different phones work with my car Bluetooth. As a result I cannot listen to music in my car or take phone calls etc. Is this a fault with phone, or do not all phones connect and work with all car Bluetooth systems. I'm really disappointed 😒

You will be able to receive calls on either number so you don't have to choose which one is active. You can also select which number to make phone calls from

There is a small pinhole on the left of the phone. You insert the pin that comes with the phone in the box and the SIM card tray will pop out

You want to open 2 applications at the same time? Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access multitasking view, then long press on the top of the application card

Dev check doesn't actually know the processor, it just gives you a really good guess based on specifications it can actually measure. The p22 and g25 are very similar in terms of specifications

It's approximately the same in terms of performance, but G25 is newer and smarter. Most people won't notice a difference
