Homing is pretty fast, its just most spells are faster by default thus it seems to have less of an effect. @demonseed360

Yeah, it's designed to be the great equalizer. Doesn't matter how much HP you have and while polymorphing projectiles can be blocked or avoided, there's almost no counter for types of polymorphine (the liquid). In late game, you start to notice not only more enemies that shoot polymorph projectiles, but way more random polymorphine flasks conveniently peppered across the area. Extremely annoying. After finding a way to consistently heal, you still have to be incredibly careful because there's still a mechanic that can 1 shot you if you're not paying attention. Early game, it's the various types of bombs. Late game, it's polymorph. Feels like the devs have to start looking for ways to cheese you after a certain point, lol.

Dude, you're giving the game a bad rep. Noita has one of the best modding supports I've ever seen, and there are tons of mods that fix every issue imaginable. Feel like movement is too slow? No problem, start with perks that boost speed and levitation. Hate the fact that you can only edit wands in the holy mountain? That's easy, start with "Edit wands everywhere" perk. Little enemy variety? 3-part "New enemies" mod will fix that with 200+ new enemies. Same old biomes? "Biome randomizer" or "new biomes" mod are for you! And if you're the most unique snowflake to exist, well, you can just make your own mod that does almost anything you want.

@@therealrufus745 I'm not saying you don't enjoy the game, at all. I'm saying you phrase yourself in a way that might dissuade a lot of new players, and then omit the fact that nearly all of the issues you have, or that one could have, can be resolved by modding. Let me give you an example: imagine I do a video about Noita where I say that the game has a lot of screen shake, and so it's not for everyone, and then completely fail to mention that there's a menu option that lets one regulate it. Never mind that it's a strange thing to do in the first place, it could be argued that knowing there are options in games is common sense. However, this is not the case for modding. There are disproportionately more games without mod support than there are with one, especially this extensive, so it's unreasonable to expect your viewers to just know there's this feature.

@demonseed360

Yeah. You could say that in most rougelikes the masochism stems from reliance on RNG and maybe high difficulty. In Noita it's not only these things, but also all the other ways of getting noited, like getting hit by offscreen enemies or by enemies who picked up cracked wands or unforseen spell interactions and such. Which can create situations that feel much, much, more unfair than just bad rng or tough enemies.@@Soulsphere001
