Pro Ultra = Solar Input (Up to 5600watts, but you will not get that much) and Quite Pro Delta = More Watts if you buy two and connect them together (7200watts...should be about same price as Ultra) and If one unit dies, you still can use the Unit that is still working. IF the Ultra Dies, you have NO Battery/Power.

Yeah, I will be doing some real world solar testing soon on the Ultra to see what we can get in as compared to the 5600W spec.

@@daviedood2503 I still only have 6 Heliene 360W panels going into the high voltage side of the Ultra. That is working fine but I am still not pushing the upper limits of what the unit can handle.

@@everydaysolar I think u need like 10 to 12 panels to max charge it. Idk if they make 400 watt panels tho. I've seen 200watt ones. I'm in a duplex two bedroom. Idk if I can use the wall accessory to hook up to the existing electrical panel. Did it require a special electrician for that ??

Best machine option unlimited budget?

Of course the delta pro is noisier, its half the capacity so the fan kicks in when the load is near its capacity. Put the ultra under a 5800w load and see what the sound comparison is when its larger fan kicks in.

I wonder what the sounds would be like with simultaneous solar input. Very impressive though!

Silent, it's impressive.

Thats the main reason why i never got the delta pro because of the loud fans. Regardless of the updates to the fan curve it always felt unacceptable to me.

The top unit is the inverter, the bottom is the battery module.

Fairly confident the unit as it sits in this video will be between $6,000 - $6,500. There is a coupon currently available which will save you $1,200 when the product is released. Not sure on the cost of each 6 kWh additional battery. Release date is Jan 9 at CES where I would expect we will get all the pricing and the website should go live.

D2M and Ultra are the newest and the ONLY units with quiet fans. Hopefully they'll update the Pro and D2 very soon. Loud fans are a no-go for many people.

The unit as it sits in about 200 lbs. The battery section is the heaviest at close to 120 lbs.

Bigger unit doesn't have to work as hard. Same goes with gas generators.

give me a ultra free and I will take that all day long, too expensive

Yeah, that is the Smart Panel 2 which come out the same time as the Delta Pro Ultra. We will be doing an install in Dec and the video will come out in early Jan.

I wouldn't buy either of these low surge capacity units. Who cares about the noise if your getting an inverter that provides a wimpy surge capacity and a shorter life expectancy than a higher performance, low frequency, transformer based inverter charger.
