he was like "my audio quality is worse in this video" and I thought "it can't be _that_ bad" and then almost spit out what I was eating when it hit video's still great but god damn he was not kidding

btw, there is no need to subtract 0.5 anymore 🥳; just uncheck normalize on the noise 😉

if you want a more accurate result and not need to blur, etc. you do a dot product between the normal and the points subtracted from the proximity position. if it's negative or positive it will tell you the front and back.

ik this one was kind of hard to watch for programmers, the way he handled some of the logical parts was as if he was doing it in real life, that pushing the cheese to make a cross-section was hilarious. sometimes I wonder what the code equivalent of some of the wired sht we do in geo nodes would come out to be.
