The FLX and ULN versions are 3-pin and the PWM version is 4-pin. Generally, you can also use 4-pin fans on 3-pin mainboard fan headers though (and the other way round as well).

I get mine this week, three of them replacing my custom pc fans from my case and two more I have at the top and the cpu cooler which is a noctua nh d14. With this I complete the set all noctua fans on my rig. I just love the colour. They are already available, well at least here in Spain since last month.

Waiting for the silverstone alta F1 case to come out, Because of the high airflow but low pressure i feel they would be amazing for push/pull of fresh air in an air cooled system.

Yes, our distribution partner in Slovenia is Dinokomp.si. They should get the new S12A in about 2 weeks or so. I'd suggest giving them a call and letting them know that you would like to order it. The fans are already available in stores in European countries such as Germany or the Netherlands, so alternatively, you could order from one of these countries. E.g. Caseking.de also ships to Slovenia.

The NF-S12A produces 107.5 m³/h at 1200rpm, which translates into about 63 CFM.

You're most welcome. The S12A PWM and FLX actually have higher airflow than the NF-P12, but less static pressure, so they're ideal for lower resistance applications whereas the P12 is better suited for applications such as CPU or radiator cooling that demand more pressure. Yes, 4launch.nl ships to the UK. However, the fans are now also available at systo.co.uk, so you could get them from there as well.

These are 120mm whereas the NF-A14 FLX is 140mm, so if you have space for 140mm, we would recommend going with the NF-A14.

Where are you from? We're already shipping them out to our distribution partners so they should be in stores very soon.

Hi noctua, im planning to get these as exhaust fans. My question is would they still be efficient if i placed one on top rear that has a dust filter or should i go with something like the f12 or p12? Thank you

Sure, they will also work well with dust filters. However, you should see slightly better results if you switch to the NF-A12x25 PWM in this situation.

Dear Noctua, can i install this fan as a rear 120mm fan in a phanteks case and asus tuf z490 gaming motherboard ? Is this the best way to go? My case has 3 front fans and one noctua nh-u12s heatsink fan. But I need an exhaust fan? Please share with me your opinion. It is important. Cheers from Argentina.

Yes, this will be a great choice for rear exhaust and if you don't have any exhaust fan behind the cooler yet, this should be helpful!

Ok, I'm afraid the only way to get them quicker would be to order from e.g. Germany then, sorry.

Keep the original color but produce other fans with other colors as well. Color variation but same Noctua quality and technology.

What's the difference between these, and the new A12 fans??? The specs are the same, with the exception of the noise, these ones are way quieter!! If you have these little babies, then why and/or what did you actually improve on the new A12 fans???? :O These are way better than the A12 fans! Aren't they? :/

The NF-S12A are dedicated for low airflow resistance applications such as case cooling. They are very efficient in this type of application but not so strong for high resistance applications such as heatsinks and radiators. The newer NF-A12x25 by contrast does very well in all applications and also does just as well as the NF-S12A in case cooling. @@NoctuaVideos What, NF-F12 is not so good for case cooling??? But I was using them for 3 years, without a problem... :O What about NF-A14 for case cooling? Also, what exactly is Static Pressure? Does it have to be high or low? Thank you!

It does work well, but not as good as NF-A12x25 or NF-S12A. NF-A14 is an allrounder like NF-A12x25, so it works well in all applications. Static pressure can be thought of the capability of a fan to push air through resistance. The higher the better, but for example, not much pressure is required to push air through a case whereas more pressure is required to push air through a radiator.

and noctua, dont change the colour please. It would be like changing the prancing horse on a ferrari for a mule. Originality.

guy can you please, i frigging beg, i am on my god damn knees right now. PLEASE MAKE IT BLACK. just black with the brown rubbers on the side. Listen if you do this, i swear on god, i will buy it if you sell fans at 50 dollars a peice. please noctua. don't be blind, how can you ignore the people's demand, when so many people just cry about the color scheme all the time. your not doing good bussiness right now. you have the best fans, just offer another color and you have the best selling fan.

Are you guys considering offering different colour fans? It's pretty much common knowledge that Noctua fans are the best out there, yet many people refuse to use them because they ruin the colour scheme of their high-end systems. High-end fans deserve high-end systems. Even Linus (one of your biggest advocates and a silence freak) won't personally use them because of the colour. At the very least offer black fans, please.
