I bought one of these yesterday through amazon and it was delivered this morning. I put it on the charge early this morning so I will be able to test it later when I get home. My old battery was original on my 2020 MT-09. It would charge but wouldn't start the bike.

Great battery. My daily rider has never started so fast. No charging, no battery tender for 3 months so far.

Your collection of bikes totally pisses me off (in a jealous way). Great video and review and demonstration. Just ordered one!

I just bought one for my Buell that eats batteries. Seems I've had to replace AGM batteries every year or two with this bike, with the exception of the original. It lasted 4 years. Im hoping the Noco will last a few years.

Great review, thanks. I'm considering one of these because my 04 1200 sportster is hard to start on a battery after about 2 years time, and I can't fit anything larger than 220 amp battery. At $100. + for a lead-acid battery this may be a good option.

Thinking about going and getting one. They got one at walmart that fits my cycle. My yuasa that i bought 2 years ago has been weak from day one, even though i keep trickle charget on it and ride almost everyday. checked voltage and motorcycle is charging correctly.

I'm very curious about one of the NLP14's for my Johnson 25 outboard. Just to crank the starter, then have a big LiPO for the trolling motor. I could remove almost 60 pounds out of my little 14ft boat with that combo. These basically seem like a jump pack with less focus on high CCA and more start's possible. I'm just worried about some of the reviews about fires/smoke and also many saying they haven't lasted long. How long have you been using these?

I have a question... I'm trying to charge my noco lithium battery with my noco genius 5 but once I put it on lithium mode my standby light also blinks while it looks like is charging. Am I doing something wrong or is it charging?

How do you deal with protecting the positive terminal? Their multipoint system makes it very difficult! I just put the NLP14 in a bmw r1200gsa, and a KTM rc8r. They both crank over much better than the ytz14s ever could.

How did you find the fit with the original cables on the Rc8r and how snug does it fit in the original battery space? 👍🏻

@@mikehbomb69 The fit is perfect, and the factory cables worked. I did straighten the 90° end on the ground cable. If I was doing it again I would go with the Antigravity battery which has standard posts.

Thank you Chris, I too tried a Noco NLP14 Lithium battery, fitting in my Honda VF750C1, its working a treat for nearly two years, I'm wondering how this Noco battery will show signs of failure. I'm just so used to, how standard motorcycle batteries fail. I cant quite understand how the Noco will show tiredness. Any ideas Chris.?? Thank you. Regards Pete

I’m only guessing but if it’s like all my other lithium ion batteries it will not hold a charge as long as it starts to age. That being said, I’ve had results so good with other lithium ion batteries that there really is no comparison to the older technologies. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.

Well if its fails like a standard battery when it drops a cell your wont get any warning at all, Ive just a Lipo battery fail totaly today, this morning the battery seemed fine but had a hard time starting the bike but eventually started, road the bike 500m to the servo to fill up, had hard starting again, road 300klm home, stopped the bike with the kill switch & left the ignition on to test battery voltage drop (12.7vdc), 3 minutes later the battery was down to 9.6 vdc & is compleatly dead, bike wont even start with a jump pack connected to it so I expect it shut it itself down for protection, time to order another battery.

Mine was mostly charged when I got it as I show in the video. I topped it off and that only took a few minutes.

Bought for my Yamaha Viking side by side. Lasted less than six months and wouldn’t take a charge. Had bike tested and no electrical problems. Put $110 lawn motor battery and everything is good. Very disappointed in the NoCo battery. Waste of money
