I’ve been watching Master Shi Heng Yi for about 4 months on and off. First of thank You Jordan and the Mulligan brothers for posting this out it changed my life and a lot of peoples as well. The path of a shaolin Monk is a path that is not given it’s earned. Primarily a Master, Shi Heng Yi is the enbodinent of what it means to be wise control the thoughts of confusion to clarity. I was going through a dark time in my life prior to coming across this channel and now I listen to it everyday. I am 20 right now working a 9 - 5 and I love my job although I know that in the future I will go to Germany and train at this temple. My great grandfather was a 10th degree black belt in judo and had his own dojo. He got his last Dan in japan 🇯🇵. Unfortunately he passed before I was born although I can feel his energy and presence from time to time. I also understand that martial arts is not just a practice it’s a way of life. Whether that is kung fu, aikido, judo or mixed martial arts do it to the best of your ability. If you failed you did not. The only failure is not trying, I am beyond grateful for listening to the teachings of this master and in hopes God willing one day I can train along side him. ❤ thank you all, and happy new year to both the mulligan brothers Master Shi Heng Yi and All the viewers 🙏🏻 ☯️

A really good candid interview. I don't know a whole lot about Elon or Jordan Peterson but I don't think people should be demonized for their views. It's better to respectfully disagree. Like he said, separate the message from the person if it resonates. That way, we don't miss out on wisdom.🙏💯

Look around you, that is truth, when people have an opinion, or a vision, or an ideal, and they discover that goes against reality, or the ideals or others... can that be truth !? or is that just people expressing a subjective opinion that they believe benefits them !? Everyone needs to answer those questions for their self. Your path is unique, and lonely, all paths are unique and lonely. Self realization is afforded to some as a privilege, maybe their parents had money, that gave them a head start. People only pass through doors that are open to them. When you look at another person, and you ask the question how did they get where they are !? ... what you should be asking, is how could they "not" have gotten where they are !? The Principles of life, mathematics, science, spirituality, and wealth or poverty are the same for every single person. It is not chance that you are who you are, or that you are not someone else... it is defined by two things... your starting position, and your will. Rather than want to be like another person, you should say I would not want to be anyone else but who I am... and then work with the belief in your mind that you will become the best you that you can be... and nothing in the universe can stop that. No one is self made, no one is perfectly self sufficient, and no idea genius or monstrous has arisen in an individual without many seeds from the fruit of the ideas of others and nurture, or the lack thereof. The middle way does not approve ideals or sides, but within the mindset of accepting the tapestry of reality one finds the most powerful Element... that is Decision. Your choices, carefully plotted out or made randomly will greatly influence and possibly even completely define your path. I am grateful for Shaolin and the things I have learned over the years from Master Shi Heng Yi, but besides being grateful, I see something else... that is I let his thinking and teaching influence my thinking, in that sense on what one might call an Astral or Spiritual plane, a piece of our paths have merged. This Principle is most important because what we focus on will have a direct influence on our decisions, and the decisions are like the rudder on a ship. The sea may be very great, and the ship small, but decisions of the one steering determine the path and the destination. Life is this way also... One must cultivate the mind in order to make meaningful decisions, because that is what determines the path and the destination. Your starting point may seem important, for example, if you desire bread and you have nothing, you will need to grow wheat, and extract oil from vegetables, and build an oven, and it may take a very long for your vision to become reality, but it is still possible. If you have everything, perhaps you use your cell to summon a service to bring you bread right away. One set of circumstances may seem unfair, and the other may seem undeserved... but the rich man who summons his desires is not as well developed as the man who had to begin with nothing... and the world will respect the rich man, and not the man who navigated a difficult path to reach his goal. You must always remember that the importance of one person over another is a meaningless illusion when they each meet death. I have genuine admiration for Master Shi Heng Yi, the others, not so much... that is a sin in itself, but at the end of the day I am who I have decided to be that day, and in poverty and in wealth, that freedom is worth the exchange because in the end we are all trapped in Samsara and our true goal should be to help others cross the land of suffering.... but the illusion of a dangerous world is a strong one. If you want to be respected by yourself and others, commit to good actions, and start over as many times as necessary but stick to that goal... the world is smaller than it appears, and your influence is many times greater than you realize... both to your good and the good of all other beings, or the the detriment of all. I don't agree with everything he does, but I am a good seer, enough to recognise what he has achieved untill now. He is authentic & courageous. Brave to follow & fight for his passions. @ the same time being a very simple, humble & fun human being. It is what it is. As for Beloved Master Shi very wise answers. Neutral & simple. Mulligan Brothers yhu should definitly go for that doc. Freedom of speech & the attacks that goes against it are super important to discuss more than ever. Elon is a genius. Dr. Peterson too. Thanks to them & many other brave souls the TRUTH on many human subjects are still available to the masses & can be shared freely still like on X for ex.

In the early 1970s I became keen to perhaps seek out a path similar to that of Our Beloved Master Shi Heng Yi i'am not sure now how many years it took to realise that for me such an undertaking was perhaps well beyond my capabilities and that I had no confidence of being able to bear the pain and hardships the loneliness nor many of the goals required to remain faithful and achieve the level of a novice being two years in temple commitment. I am certain that our Master Shi Heng Yi endures as ever greater adversity suffering loneliness and self doubt that to become a Master is far beyond the imagination or comprehension of the vast majority of human beings including myself. What we have strived for was Universal Basic Income for everyone just because we are born, as we have found out about the distribution of money between the elite and the rest. As someone who has listened to countless interviews with Master Shi Heng Yi, I'm sorry to say I couldn't finish this one. To listen to him talk about Elon Musk was cringeworthy and to then hear the name Jordan Peterson mentioned was the final straw. Both Musk and Peterson are not good men.

Can't think of a billionaire or single soul who is, that's just how I see it. I've not read his autobiography to be fair but I have also watched what he's said and what he's done, and from that I can't praise him. All that being said, differences aside, Merry Christmas to you too buddie, and a better year for us all to come. I think we can all agree on that, even if we differ on the path to it.

I know what it means to be Elon Musk. someone who is obsessed with ideas and purpose has no rest. they have no pity for themselves. I don't want to be Elon Musk because he doesn't have a good relationship with his father

I admired Elon a lot for a long time, and approve of much of what he does and his motivations. But that has started to change with his views on animal cruelty. He believes a humans happiness is more important than not torturing animals and its kinda fucked up. Talking about both animal agriculture as well as animal testing done at neural link. Whether or not someone enjoys something does not determine the ethics of said thing. There are a lot of fucked up things that people enjoy. Should we allow dog fight because it makes people happy? Rape? Murder? Slavery? Their happiness about it doesn't make it right. There are people starving in the world that we could feed if we stopped animal agriculture and put the crop land that is used to feed the animals to better use. The fact that he ignores the science on animal agriculture and its deleterious effects because of his own personal preferences, saying it has little effect on the environment, is disappointing.

Ya don't personally know him.🧐Mostly thought just a nother Rich guy More laid back then most or enjoying the wealth. No biggie. Not that I needed to know more, but i liked when he said you going to try & manipulate me with money..💰 I thought funny, because how many of us has that happened to "pay pay pay" & then to go on with life one just has to pay or everything Does come down/ bills go up if not got a lot of money penalty this that want to fight it. Money all up front with a possible maybe money back, half break little above even at best if that even. Very few on top.🤭😏 but funny because ya trying to manipulate someone with 💰 money that has that much money.😂🤓 can't be done because he doesn't care about their money he's earned his don't need theirs 🤭🤓 type of funny. You really should do further research, maybe read the latest Elon Musk autobiography. He’s definitely not perfect, but credit where credit is due, let’s start with transitioning humanity away from a dependency on fossil fuels, surely you can see that one? Merry Christmas anyway, x.

​@@unemployedrocketsurgeon1124Yeah but he's not transitioning us off fossil fuels. The lithium for his batteries is strip mined by diesel machines and shipped via diesel trucks. His factories and the vehicles themselves get power from coal and gas plants. Charging Teslas will add to the demands of the grid and increase demand for coal and gas and the destructive means of obtaining them. His Hyperloop was just a public brain fart that he let out as a way to undercut high-speed rail so it wouldn't cut in to his car profits.

I like Elon he has a tough position to stand up against wanting people to free and not controlled people by large government and corporations

I don’t want to be Elon Musk for a lot of reasons. This ain’t it. Truth is not subjective. I could not even finish the first minute. 🤢

I’m not sure he is praising Elon Musk that much. I think he pointed out that this person has ability to do he does now. We can not deny facts that Elon Musk did/does what others could not (even if we don’t like Elon’s personality and behaviours). All genius persons aren’t perfect e.g. Einstein wasn’t the perfect man in private life. Remaining unshakable no matter what is part of his teaching ; because we don’t let our inner emotions guiding our vision. If hearing what he says seems unpleasant ; that means your let your ego, standards in life taking over your emotions. We could disagree with their opinions but you must let go those emotions. If you don’t, any unpleasant words will interfere in your daily life.

Musk is trying to disseminate truth? I am not going to need to disturb my confidence in humanity any further by watching any more of this. As I see it, Elon Musk is fighting to disseminate misinformation that benefits billionaires. He knowingly lied about Tesla's self driving reliability. He ignores the planet's distress from over crowding. I could go on and on. People who worship billionaires unquestionably are missing what is important in life. I am constantly marveling how easily we humans are duped.
