We got a Pacifica as a rental car on a trip. So damn nice, I felt like I was riding in luxury the whole time.

You should see luxury minivans from outside of US, the makers of the Lexus LM sought to replicate the interior of a private jet. The problem is (IIRC) some of them only have room for two passengers in the rear which is such a waste. A minivan's selling point is that it's often better at accommodating many passengers than a large SUV.

As a former kid, I can confirm I would not leave the minivan.

I remember playing the stare out the window until you pass out from boredom feature that all of our vehicles had.

I got picked on an Uber driving one of these and i was on 3 hours of sleep and still I was so impressed with how so much nicer this van is compared to other ones. The quality is insane too

Too bad that 3.6L pentastar is junk. If you’re the type to keep vehicles for 3 years and trade them in, then go right ahead. If you’re like me and keep vehicles for 200k to 300k miles or more. And drive one vehicle til it falls apart, stay away. I’m a technician. That 3.6L has paid off my mortgage and put my kids through college. So now that I think about it, go ahead and buy it! I’ll fix it when it breaks, and it will break

That Umbrella storage is one of the most thoughtful 😌 designs ever. Even though they're almost always put in that spot, eventually the long umbrellas get caught in the door and damaged.

Umbrella on the side of a driver's chair, I already did that for the last 5years. Its only my car doesn't have certain compartment for that, so it makes my carpet wet 😅

Man i remember playing on my Wii on a long road trip in my family’s old 2009 grand caravan (which is the spiritual predecessor to the Pacifica) and it was so cool. It’s such a shame that iPads and phones kinda killed entertainment screens in cars just as they really got started, cause it’s so useful to just put in a movie and go, no fussing with connection or whatever. Hell you don’t even need to have people in the back, if you need to road-trip solo you can still pop in a movie and listen to it rather than music.

Always wanted to do this when I was younger on road trips. Parents never took me seriously even when there was screens built into vehicles, had the old av jack set ups that never seemed to work properly

All those features will be very nice when you are on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck.

I've never wanted a van so much. I'm just sad I would never need it.

Rolls Royce has been doing that forever. The unbrella goes into a hole in the door. I guess the idea is the driver gets out, pulls out the umbrella and can then cover whoever the VIP is who is in the back.

My Mom actually had one of those a while ago for a few years. It was pretty cool.

I think the feature that sets the Pacifica from basically every other car is that the seats fold down completely. The stow-n-go system makes this the best minivan because the middle row goes into the floor completely. Every other minivan only has 3rd row that folds down. It basically turns into a cargo van within 60 seconds. My mom leased Chrysler minivans for the past 15 years or so. She has the new Pacifica. Rarely had any problems and all of my siblings use it if we need to hual things around

The roof rails are actually more streamlined on a Subaru Outback IMO. Ours just has one latch and quite easily crosses over to make a roof rack.

Ok ngl out of all those things the belt in umbrella holder is the best part

The last company i worked for gave me a 2020 Pacifica and a gas card for all my business travel. I fucking loved that thing, i still think about it.

My 15 odyssey has everything minus built in wifi, but have my phone for that. I have dual HD screens, same screen split. Don't have an umbrella but have a vacuum. And has more space/seating. 340,000km and still going strong

I have a 2022 pacifica. I love the van. It’s been on multiple trips while my kids are playing the ps5 in the back without us hearing them. It drives like a Cadillac compared to other minivans.

Chrysler's vans always are made for every member of the family

I have a 2021 pacifica s and guys, its worth every penny. I enjoy driving it more than my 2013 c63 AMG. Its pretty quick, not a slouch by any means, its long but its very narrow so its very forgiving in terms of being in your lane, yet it doesnt feel narrow on the inside. Ive hauled significantly more with the van than i can with my gmc sierra, the seats actually go into the floor, not just haphazardly folded over, so it can act like a panel van and would be a great postal service vehicle. The funeral homes in my area all use Pacifica hybrids to put caskets in and to transport the deceased from place to place. If everyone had the money to buy one of these, i would highly recommend it. Ive gone 100k so far in it and i haven’t had a single issue other than getting recall work done.
