I remember on a overnight elementary school trip our cabin leader, his name was marlin, sang this song before we all went to bed and played it acoustic on the guitar and I still think about that moment today as one of the most peaceful and empowering moments of my life. Amazing ain’t it? No religion no race ..all enjoying Bob Marley .. really? I recalled what that Malawian comedian Daliso Chaponda said during his BGT audition.. about a 200 years ago this would have been an auction! And singing would have added value to this man.. No woman no cry..

This put a huge smile on my face. For a moment, everyone stood together and sang a song. Muslims, Catholics, blacks, whites, Americans, Jamaicans... They forgot the things that separated them and had fun. Together.
