No Trim Brisket
Today I wanted to try an experiment on taking a brisket that hasn't been trimmed and just put it directly on the smoker to see what kind of difference it makes. I just used a simple salt and pepper rub with a mustard binder and tossed it on the pellet grill at 250 for about 14 hours.

Awesome! Thanks for watching and good luck on your first cook!
11:12 it was trimmed!!! No deckle!!!
Thats a smoker? Way different than lump and real wood....
10:58 yikes
The thick fat on a brisket does not make good food on the plate. Edit: That rendered down nice. Mine still had 1/4" of fat or more in places .

It was an interesting experiment. The one I tried it with was cheap and didn’t have too much fat to begin with so it kept it pretty moist.
1:45 umm that's trimmed already... Theres no DECKLE FAT!!! Also just unpacke and season... No need for way too much mustard thats going to burn and fall off. Bro yo need to know about binder myth!!!
Too much mustard
