Thanks simon for showing me the walnut tree. It was a gift from some friends who live at the opposite end of the village. We never actually lived in the house, but bought it in order to renovate and then stay there as often as we could...sadly we didn't get as far as you have. Although we did put in the septic tank and prop up the far wall. The toilet and shower were put in by us as well as anything you found in the room with the fireplace. I'd be happy to tell you the plans/idea we had for the place if it is of interest. Also who we bought it from etc.

As for the rest of gentlemen you all do a grand job. Billy love all your content on your channel, it’s such a pleasure to watch. ❤
I think Ryan is doing an awesome job. Worked really hard and you can see all his newly acquired building skills coming in great use. For me, the comedy is receeding and a skilled grafter is starting to shine through.
Simon has a real gift for teaching and making his explanations clear, concise, and easy to understand. Not many teachers can do that.
Yanis seems to totally be in his element today. Lovely to see the dream team all working together. So fun seeing Simons farmhouse receiving the TLC it deserves. Good show today, thank you!

Simon, you have the perfect personality for being a KZreadr. You speak well & you are doing the perfect weekend renovation project. In addition, you live in your caravan situated in a barn. All you have to do is show renovation progress, plus you enjoying a cup of coffee & from time to time, you’re fixing a meal.😊 Converting a derelict cottage is a KZread content GEM 💎
I am so delighted Ryan’s confidence is growing in his DIY abilities . Billy has always been a leader but around Simon he is settling peacefully into that role. Yannis works so hard and more sure of himself too. Simons calmness seems to be bringing balance to the dynamic. He looks peaceful with his role as well. Simeon holding the curtain over the toilet with no roof saying no more privacy cracked me up. I hope that this crew continues. Alex has a heart of gold to. Making tea for Simon. It’s the small things .

I am a 74 yo retired ICU/ER registered nurse who comes from a family of masons, plasterers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, oil field workers, steel workers, chefs, waitresses, educators, and mathematicians. Many among them have a gift of music and art as well. Needless to say I have experienced a lot of life. The men in these videos represent what the core on which civilization has been built. The explorers who were builders, innovators, and artists who built homes, stables, barns, business buildings, churches, all the way up to castles. Simon, Billy, Yanni, and Ryan are working so hard to preserve the historical buildings as well as build their homes, and future businesses. What a marvelous blend of the old and new skills to share their journey with we the viewers all over the world. TY for giving of your time, humor, tears, knowledge and experience to those of us who do value your efforts. God bless you all.

Thank you for showing the walnut tree, Simon! We had a beautiful, probably 30 yr old walnut tree in our small front yard. We live in Southern California & lost the tree a couple of years ago, due to extended period of severe drought & restrictions on water use. We now have 3 Palo Verde trees, as part of all drought tolerant landscaping.
The story of the walnut tree was a lovely touch, so thoughtful. You’re doing a great job guys - crack on! ❤👏👍
