No respect! Puckin NHL Controversies

Спорт

Lace up your skates and grab your hockey sticks, folks! We've got a puckin' great episode ahead as we dive headfirst into the icy world of hockey, discussing recent controversies, player safety, and the ever-debated topic of NHL officiating. We're pulling no punches as we analyze David Perron's retaliation on Zub - We're also exploring the challenges of officiating in the NHL and dissecting the Senators' performance.
As we step off the ice, we trade our hockey sticks for Puck Bunny Kathleen Turner the sultry voice of Jessica Rabbit and chat about the Canadian TV shows "Shoresy" and "Letterkenny" - it's as Canadian as maple syrup and hockey combined!
As we wrap up, we bring you back to the rink with a discussion on the importance of respect and education in hockey. We argue that the increase in violence is not due to a lack of respect, but a lack of education on how to give and receive hits. We also touch on the intense and physical nature of hockey and the role of fighting in the sport. From controversies on-ice to laughs off-ice, this episode is sure to score a hat trick with hockey fans and beyond. So tune in, sit back, and prepare to be entertained, informed, and maybe even a little surprised

The big thing I have about getting hit from behind is, you don't have to to prepare. At least if you saw a big hitter out there and you're heading his way, you can brace yourself for it. That's why hitting from behind is so dangerous. Even from the side, too. As for the Perron hit, my mind wanders back to a game on TSN from October of 1987, when Dave Brown nearly took Tomas Sandstrom's head off with a huge cross-check. Brown got 15 games, yet somehow had defenders (Don Cherry among them). I have no problem with sticking up for a teammate, but with a cross-check? I have a big problem with that.
