No Patch Cables - Er301 16n and i2c

Музыка

No patch cables - #er301 connected to 16n faderbox via i2c TRS cable which is the light blue cable with the gold trim. I mounted a TRS socket in the bottom of a multiple on the case. That jack / socket goes to 3 DuPont cables that connects to the back of the er301. The sliders are assigned to multiple parameters in the er301 so 1 slider controls 4 or 5 different things internally on the er301, like delay time, sample slice, pitch, granular speed, feedback, reverb time etc. That internal line will also connect to Just Friends, Teletype and Ansible at the other end of my case. The 16n also outputs midi which I use to control an Eventide H9 and each slider also has an individual CV output (0 - 5v) per slider so you can plug regular patch cables to the modular also. I got this from Michigan Synth Works. #modular #modularsynth #eurorack #glitch #experimental #experimentalmusic

How did you do this? I was playing with the idea of buying a Faderbank 16n. But kind of afraid of the amount of cable mess it's going to bring.

pyrox a trs cable goes from the 16n to a trs jack that I fitted into a buffered multi. The back of that trs jack I soldered 3 wires - ring / tip / sleeve that connect to the back of the er301.
