I too am very concerned about the insuficient number of immigrants now arriving. Our current government has failed to build sufficient housing, we are short of adequate accomodation for over 4 million people, we did have enough skilled workers to do this hard skillful work, but the current government prioritised the construction of over 2 million investment flatlets for Russian, Chinese, Polish/Czech millionaire investors.1.8 million of them are empty, just going up in value for the overseas investors. Every other country in Europe and many states in the US, tax empty properties heavily, making it more economical to let them to locals via distict housing co operatives. We couldn't catch up now, as we have over 200,000 skilled men short, since the disastrous Brexit transition forced them all to relocate to other work sites throughout Europe and beyond. This government closed 50% of police stations and got rid of 20,000 experienced cops, and 22,000 support staff, they closed 60% of courts, so now it takes maybe a year to get a criminal before the Beak, victims usually fail to turn up 6 months or a year after, they've tried to move on. 40% of fire stations have closed in the last 14 years, not one single reservoir has been built, no rail or road improvements have been provided, so congestion is guaranteed. This is not because of immigrants arriving, this is because the government have funneled the money to Conservative party donors, Lords and Ladies, and indirectly to themselves instead of to the country. Read the European press, every week hundreds of miles of high speed rail are opening throughout Europe, pensions are about double, minimum wages are as high as UK but with a family home costing a quarter each month. This is not the fault of forighners, this is the fault of the electorate in the UK, constantly voting for thieves and liars. Look at Johnson. Sunak, Truss all compulsive liars, Try not to punch down to people that are also not so well off, like most of us, Punch up, at the thieves that are conning us, "Stop what Boats" 50,000 desperate people, 75% of them are genuine asylum seekers, But 1.25 million came from India and Africa last year as carers, students and family members. So 50,000 boat people is a piss in the ocean, there are 20,000 towns in the UK, that's just 2 in each ffs. per year From the EU, when we were members, 200,000 came, did the work, paid £2400 more tax than the average Brit, and either invested in the UK or went back to Europe, making the eastern EU as wealthy as it now is, many better off than the UK. We could have kept many of these valuable, young, fit, skilled, multi lingual people and we too would also be well off and healthy, like them, we would eventually have become educated like them as well, if only there were fewer tiny minded xenophobic 'hard of thinking' people that hear an accent that kicks of thier childish inferiority deficiency. I'm absolutely sure that you will agree, if only you were able to comprehend properly and clever enough to check this information and brave enough to admit your desperately weak and feeble behaviour.

As a former police officer I am speechless and not a little concerned about the apparent weakness of the courts. Where on earth is this country going?

Why is this not on the news?? And no way he was only charged with those silly charges😱

The man didnt 'want to take a knife and stab a Jew' he DID take a knife and attacked a young Jewish man with it aiming for the young man's neck. Its sheer luck he didnt cause an injury or kill him. Being drunk does not mean you wont harm or kill it means your inhibitions and true feelings are revealed.

Whoever gave this sentence should be charged with him when he attacks another person, which statistically he will do.

What did they think his intent was, brandishing a huge knife like that? He was clearly out for blood. He was very clearly trying to kill this Jewish gentleman.
