In 9" thick wall Area of wall in sq ft /0.1153( area of one brick including mortar 10 mm)you get perfect answer .

For practical estimates counting bricks in a 9" thick wall, multiply the area of wall by 10 and for 4.5" thick wall, the area by 5😄

10 feet=120" brick size=9"x4.5"x3" already less size for mud or cement. 120"/4.5"=26.67 in one row[27] 120"/3" = 40 row 40 x 27=1080p bricks is right answer. in civil work quantity estimate 10% wast be must. [1190 bricks done]

This is right answer. Let me explain simply. 1 cubic feet wall require 13.5 bricks (after applying mortar). So 100 square feet area of wall with 9 inch thickness is equal to 75 cubic feet. So 75 * 13.5 = 1013 bricks

You forget to consider the volume of cement mortar

Volume 1 and 2 has 9/12 as a factor...then you are dividing them. Why to even include them in the calculation? One of the best video, why basic mathematical thinking ability is required. Moreover, mortar calculation is missing.

Volume of one Brick = 20×10×8 cubic cm = 1,600 cubic cm Length of wall = 10 Ft = 304.8 cm Breadth of wall = 22.86 cm Height of wall = 10 Ft = 304.8 cm Volume of wall = 304.8×22.86×304.8 = 2,123, 764 cubic cm No. of Total Bricks = Volume of wall ÷ Volume of one Brick. = 2123764÷1600 = 1, 327 Bricks approximately as per size of Delhi Bricks.

Bhai Brick width 4" so 2 Brick layers 4"+4"=8" and 1"= Mortar they have took, hence they took wall width 8"+1"=9"

Tu Standard Size pakad Kr Chal na Bhai.. kam Zyda Sai farq nhi padta.. wastage Naam Ki Bhi Koi Chiz hoti wahan Par hisaab barabar ho jata hai
