Hello sir, for my duplex house due to a mistake a wall could not cover the staircase which is leading to first floor. As a result part or stair case and little part of roof outside the main door remained open. Only option is to cover it with a strong mesh or go for grill coverage. Grill covering is not safe enough as part of the stair case will be visible if we stand outside the main door. At the same time closing it with a mesh construction gives pathetic look. Any other idea how to handle this. Please give your suggestion asap

I have experienced that 4 feet wide stair gives you the most of comfort and convenience while transporting the furniture and heavy tall cupbords, beds etc. Many Corporations also do not consider this space in the FSI calculations if the stairs are 4' or wider.

For residential purpose not more than G+3 3.5 feet is enough

सबसे पहले सीढ़ी के लिये जगह पर्याप्त होना चाहिए तभी आपकी सीढ़ी अच्छा तरीका से बनेगा कम स्पेस मे आप बोल रहे हो वैशा नहीं बन सकता है।

It should be clockwise n going towards south or west

Main thing in making staircase is how to calculate the no.and exact height. This part must be covered.This the actual reqirement of layman, say I want 12 stairs of 11 inch width each with riser of 7 inch.So this depends on the ground floor space length from where staircase starting.

How to go to the underground home from the stairs (Height - 8feet)? How to land on the underground home from the stairs? And Yes, stair room's length is 10feet and width is 10feet. We have 3 stairs. First,we have stairs for go to the main door. For Second one, we have stairs for go to the underground home. At last , we have stairs to go to the 1st floor. Because it is a flood area. The sq.ft of the house is total 800sq.ft. If I can land from 8feet stairs,so what's the height of House? Please help me about the underground home .Friend.

Simple Thumb rule for Stair Design is ( Riser+Thread = 15 to 18 ie, 7 + 10 = 17 ) and ( Riser X Thread = 65 to 75 ie, 7 X 10 = 70 ) if your stair fits in this rule then it is Best to climb . .

Riser k ooper marble /Tile kitnaabi thikness ka ho iss say height per farak nahee padtha. Kyonki thikness ka effect opper our neechewaala step per same aatha hein.

इससे कोई फर्क नही पड़ता है क्योकि अगर आप सीढ़ी 5 ईंच की बनाओगे तो 1.3 इंच की मोटी डबल रोल पत्थर बन जायेगा और सीढ़ी 6.3 पे परफेक्ट हो जायेगा । मै यही काम करता हूं ये साला तो फेकू है भाई

और सब तो सही बनवाया है हमने, लेकिन चौड़ाई 33" रखी है जो स्टील रेलिंग लगने के बाद 3' रह जायेगी। क्या जीने के बाहर से लोहे की रेलिंग लगवा दें, हमने लोहे की पत्ती डलवा रखी है जो स्टील रेलिंग लगवाएंगे तो कटवानी पड़ेगी।

How to measure angle 35 degree

For that you have to stand exact 5feet away from the stairs and then measure the distance of 6.7feet on the wall with tape..and mark it..rest your contractor will do...also for custom calculation you may also use this formula: theta = tan^-1(x/y) , where x is distance of place where you are standing and y is height point on the wall in mm.
