Another great video Vanessa. Great to see you looking so fit and well again!
Thanks Vanessa for an excellent video! And also for a perfect Freudian slip: “men and humans”😂😂😂. As, evidently, a non human I salute you👍👍
Thanks for the information and advice! I find that Thermacell helps a lot against mosquitos. My nemesis is the deer louse fly, though. I hate them.

First, Wow, Yay, a ❤️from Vanessa . Swooning for a moment there. Various Incense, burning citronella oil torch, and the best DDT, Panama Canal Insect Repellent, whatever works best.
This woman is fantastically fit. She mentioned "breeding" too.😘 now seriously. Mosquitos safety so so important for bushcrat. Vanessa so sweet thats why the critters wanna eat her ( nom nom nom) NOTE mud on skin does both protect and removes the protien. Good for bee stings too.

When it comes to mosquitos, bite them back.
I hate mosquitoes but, if we didn't have them, we wouldn't have jerassic park. I remember when the west Nile virus started. It freaked me out! You don't hear about it anymore, strange.
Mosquitoes are always a big problem unfortunately . As always your video is beautiful and interesting, hello good evening 👍👋
Mosquitos loves me. I hate them. Everthing that helps fighting them is helpful.
USMC thought me a lot BUT I'm STILL learning too thank you n STAY BLESSED loved yer experience. With ticks.glad you recovered..still praying FOR YOUR health
I learned a lot. Thank you. You work very hard to do these vides, doing them in both languages. Your English is very good, and getting better ALL the time stay safe
A vary timely topic Vanessa . In the early summer we get inundated with Black Flies , then as it heats up the Mosquitoes take over making evening activity's mostly something to avoid if possible . August and September are beautiful tent camping weather with the warmest ( relatively ) water and cooler nights there is far less biting critters after your blood. Lots of forest fire smoke in the air this year. NO outside fires allowed anywhere . You are looking so incredible and healthy. Best wishes for you and your family . Ontario Canada .
Great Video Vanessa!! I know it’s not always possible but a fan works really well if you are at home.
I hate when I'm trying to sleep and I hear that sound.
never had issues with mosquitos. They always went after my sister, mom, wife, brothers wife. The men in the family and I mean a few generations worth none of us have problems with them.
Forgot now you mentioned it, always pack a spoon and a lighter. Likely rub the back of a hot spoon, lighty at first until you can take the heat, then press it in over the bite, itch gone. As you say Vanessa, an old trick that still works and works very well.
Great video Vanessa. Try using vinegar after being bitten. Just kitchen vinegar, it will stop the itchiness. Enjoying your video. Please keep them coming.
Hi there Vanessa nice to see you again wow that mosquito sounds loud, I have a problem with the mosquitoes because I am like sugar for them😮😮 I go camping I have to spray myself enjoy and be safe💝🙋♂️🙋♂️
They love to eat me Vanessa.... I am Itching now just thinking about them..... I am Glad to have you back..... :-)) xxxx
Scent-proof hunting clothes work amazingly for the parts that are covered! With a hunting hoodie, I only have to lightly spray around my face, it's almost like an invisibility cloak!
Mosquito and sandflies up on my place seem to love to see when we have visitors. Its like ahhhh yeah, yippy some new flavored blood
Nice one Vanessa. The word you were searching for is pollen. Insects pollinate flowers to make fruit. A military grade mosquito repellant contains Deet, if that’s any help, but I wear a mosquito net over my face so that I don’t swallow or choke on them!
Thanks Vanessa on the advice about mosquitoes 🦟 and thank you for the video 🦊🏆🌺👍
Vanessa ,yarrow crushed up and rubbed onto yourself like your elderberry also keeps the mosquitoes at bay. thanks for the tips.
Mosquitos prefer O Blood Type. Thermo-Cells work really well to remove mosquitos from your area and they are fairly cheap to purchase.
I have found its always best 👌 to try and keep away from still swamped water 💧 when the weather is hot because thats where mosquitos and other insects tend to bite , and they have a knowing of where to bite a victim being man or animal alike. I have been bit badly myself on occasions and it's no fun , it's better to go out with spray protection than with non covering your body . ❤️Vanessa.
Your English is just fine, sweetie! This is the first video of yours that I've found, and I love you! Hope to see more. 🙂
Vanessa, great video. I am one of those people who gets bitten all the time😢. I use mosquito wipes with 25% Deet, especially when I travel to Africa.
Thank you Vanessa. Very helpful information that you have gathered. Hi to the boys, and all the best from Alaska.
Vanessa you are just sweeter. :) They don't bother me as much even though I sweat a lot
Great Video Vanessa! Very informative. This will help a lot of people… not just Bushcrafter & Woodsmen/woman. The occasional Camper and even City people can use this information to help them avoid Mosquitoes! People should dump any standing water they have around the home. If it just a bucket, a Child’s Sand Pail for the Sandbox or beach etc should also have any accumulated water dumped out of them. Keeping these areas that Mosquitoes use to breed will help keep their population down around your home.
You can use tar or tar soap :) it smells like resin. I like! And mosquitos don't :)
They're also are attracted by the carbon dioxide that you expel. It can help if you can also camp in an area that has somewhat of a breeze passing through along with smoke from your campfire. It also helps if you don't use anything scented such as deodorant or shampoo. I would like to thank you for these videos and I'm looking forward to more. BTW I'm here in the U.S. in Georgia.

That's true for a lot of flying monsters isn't it? I was told that is what makes them congregate around our heads...How true is that?
You are just to sweet , thats why mosquitos love you :) --- Mosquitos have killed more people than any other animals, thats what i have heard
I know they play their part in the cycle of life, but boy do I hate those blood-suckerz! I hate 'em so much I'm surprised they don't use all the blood from slaughterhouses as mosquito traps that lure them en masse to their deaths (traps designed to exterminate them). On another note, you made me laugh so hard when you said some people were like McDonald's Signs along a highway to mosquitoes. Too funny! Thanks for sharing your ideas on how to keep them off. PS luv your accent. :)

What part do they play in the cycle of life ? Other than they are hatched and i kill as many as i can. ☆
Mosquitos can drive you crazy ! Very interesting and I learned a lot. Also there are mosquito hats with mesh - net veils for the face available on line. Sort of like what bee keepers wear.
I love hearing you talk, you're looking very good in this video.
Thanks for the update V !
Love it ,great video!
Ticks and chiggers are my worst enemies
Lookin really good, Vanessa!!!
Great information Vanessa!❤ Love you and glad to see you always 😊
Great info, thanks!
Great vid 👍 you look amazing Vanessa ❤

Thanks for your detailed information ❤much appreciated great advise...the best ive seen.

Thank you for a lovely video. Just wanted to wish you a happy year ahead. All the best, Kieron

The skeeters eat me alive every time, because I am so sweet. Yeah, or maybe because I am a diabetic and my sugar is, at least. I am a skeeter magnet for sure, though. They see me and it's chow time! UGH!
I lived with a river behind my house while growing up . As it got warmer and mosquitoes got more of a problem , we ate raw onion and garlic in salads . As we perspire, our sweat made us less desirable to those blood sucking fiends. MY Grandfather taught us that trick . Friends might complain about your breath but we suffer complaints to avoid the biters .
Liked your video Vanessa good info on mosquitoes have a nice day 👍
Mosquitoes, ticks, and chiggers are really bad here in Kentucky certain times of year. I wear light cotton khaki color clothes, long sleeves, long pants, a mesh summer ball cap or light green golf hat, a head net, and light cotton gloves on my hands. Tall un-insulated rubber boots with my pants tucked in reduce ticks and chiggers from climbing up inside my pant legs. I spray Deep Woods Off on my socks and pant legs, all openings in my clothing, around my wrists, around my collar, around my waist, and up the buttons on the front of my shirt. If I am not wearing rubber boots, I also spray my shoes, the laces, and around the tongue of the shoe so the bugs have no way to crawl in. Before I started using spray, I would get 50 bites or more on each ankle and dozens of bites all over my body. I actually have some scars from chiggers. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! Love to watch and learn
Thank you for the tips, know I now how to manage, I love your show, Vanessa
Skin so soft made by Avon also works to deter mosquitoes
Very good vanessa. And interesting too about insects and knatts mosquitos.
Really enjoyable vid...Thanks.
Awesome video Vanessa I hate the skeeters and ticks looking good ,take care👍
Very useful information, excellent video
Thank you for the video
Mosquitoes and ticks are two of the base food sources of every ecosystem. Unfortunately, there is no "reason" for any animal. There's just the evolution of millions of species finding a necessary balance.
Awesome woman ❤
LOVE yer.. info..so helpful..❤
Great video 🥰🥰🥰
Hey thats great info, I like the idea that you can take away the itch. Dave from Canada
After being bitten we would dab a little (amonia) on the bite . It nearly always stopped the itch . Also a trick from my Grandfather . ❤
14:47 such fun. What was the reason for ticks?? Bird food, mice food and such? That would be my guess. We got to learn live with them, like it or not. Without the small creatures we don’t have the big creatures. Fact. 14:47
Vanessa I'm a 218 lb. Man and I love hunting and fishing camping. But those pesky mosquitos they unnerve me
Great information! Mosquitoes love me, so I’m going to try the hot metal technique to stop the bites from itching. First time I’ve ever heard of that.
@TheWorryingWolverine

... or use some vinegar, that should also help against the bite and provide a bit of cooling too.
Great as usual Danke
👍👍✌✌🙏🙏💖💖thank you Vanessa
thank's Vanessa for the tips , raw onion rubbed on the mosquito bite also helps, I have tried it in Northern Ontario canada. And the Thermicell helps as well they are batterie opporated . Ontario Canada look forward to the next video
When I was a young boy, over 50 years ago, I learned an old wise tale; I was told that once bitten by a mosquito if you take your fingernail and double press a cross "+" right in the middle of a bite it will stop itching. I thought it worked when I was young and have used it throughout my life...but maybe it is just the power of the mind...I don't know. Where I live in Washington State there are not many mosquitos, where I grew up in Iowa, they were really thick there, really bad.
Yeah Vanessa ❤
Wow Vanessa looking good.
Thanks!!
I have found that eating garlic three or four days in advance of going into areas with mosquitoes signifigntly cuts down the number of bites. also, spreading garlic granuals or powder helps reduce the number of bugs in a lawn or garden
Love you ❤
I tend to put hot sauce on most of the food I eat. Guess those little critters don't like that. They tend to stay FAR away from me..
Awesome...
You look so pretty Vanessa!
I was born in a tropical island and we have mosquito mostly at night in summer time.I used to have an electric fan on(swinging) in the bedroom and that blow the mosquito away.
Very useful information Vanessa! We all need protection from these blood eating insects. Many mosquito borne diseases are still found in the world. 😀😀
Thanks
Find a muddy bog and coat yourself in mud from head to toe! But seriously luckily here in most of Uk not so bad. Scotland has a huge amount of midges at the moment, huge clouds of them...must be a nightmare camping

Thermocel will help with most mosquitoes. A permethrin base spray to treat your clothes is very helpful also. Best thing to do to make yourself less palatable to mosquitoes is add garlic to your diet. We are in an area with lots of mosquitoes so starting in early spring we add garlic to everything and take garlic supplements.
Oh yes, Vanessa. You would be the perfect meal for the mosquitoes! So sweet!! Yummy 😋 Keep a fire going near by and every chance you get, throw some wet leaves on.. just enough to actually make it smoke. And, you can always puff on a cigar .. that will keep them out of your face.
good information... we have something worse than mosquitoes in Florida called yellow flies and they are the only thing I fear in the woods lol. I carry a spray bottle of dawn dish soap water to shoot them down. It works quick and won't linger like raid or something.
Vanessa... Mosquitoes are attracted to Carbon Dioxide which we breathe out. But anything with DEET will keep them away for a long while. But as you said they love stagnant water. Often times they are even seen during major storms and hurricanes. Such a great video. Yes a Point for you. You really look special in todays video. Maybe I be like mosquito and bite you... Ich Liebe Dich SOOOO !!!!

Tea tree oil may help prevent bacteria and other microbes from growing in a bug bite. This can reduce the risk of infection, making it an excellent choice for children who cannot resist scratching. Research also shows that tea tree oil might act as a natural antihistamine.
interesting video .
More for ticks than mosquitos, in the U.S. we have a cleaning product called pine-sol. Mix that about 1 to 6 with water and spray from the knees and elbows down. Keeps ticks and chiggers(red bugs) off really well.
I may very well be one of those people that mosquitoes don't like: we have them here in Texas, but I don't seem to get bitten very often. In fact, even the one time that mosquitoes infested a houseplant of mine (maybe a decade ago), I didn't get bitten much, even as I swatted them by the dozens. (Of course, they could have been males.) A bigger problem in our part of the country is FIRE ANTS, who are so pervasive that I've been bitten even while bicycling through the center of town here in Austin! Those bugs suck. I've been thinking about a Thermacell, too, despite all this, having just learned about it: I have a Coleman stove that it might fit very well.
Aaaaaawwwwww Vanessa the wild woman you are and so gorgeous 😊😊😊. Deet is extra strong which I dislike it though so does the insects. Also Detol or Pineoclean helps to work also. Mix either of these with baby lotion and the hate it. Btw keep up the good work beautiful and love watching your videos 💕💕👍👍🙏🙏👏👏🙌🙌
1:10 tea tree oil dissolved in alcohol. You smell like a train sleeper after that, but no mosquitoes and it is natural !
Hello Vanessa! One thing that you can add to your knowledge base is that mosquitoes can track you whenever you exhale. They can sense the C02 from your breath when you exhale it. This also makes them attack you more when you are backpacking or hiking because you exhale more from that work. Perhaps wearing a mask would help but I have not tried that. The best idea I have is to nuke DC from orbit...THAT would solve 85% of the World's ills :)) Sending love and smiles from the great smoky mountains in Tennessee. ~~*~^^^*~*
I eat raw garlic when I'm in the bush. Seems to help a bit. Stay away from sugar n sweets. Thanks for the video!
