No More Dialysis! Dr Michael's Journey of Recovery From Stage 5 Kidney Failure |

Ғылым және технология

"You need to accept that this is going to be your life for the next 30 years until you die. There's nothing we can do to restore your kidneys or to regenerate the tissue."
This is what physicians told Dr Michael, who had to undergo dialysis three times a week, four hours a day due to Stage 5 Kidney Failure. Today, Dr Michael no longer needs dialysis, and his condition continues to improve. How did he do it? Watch to find out, in another episode of #EWSuccessStories!

I was misdiagnosed for 7 years even though my labs clearly had shown what was going on. I was wrongfully put on statins that a competent doctor would've known that was a huge mistake had they paid attention to the labs. I developed more issues like kidney failure. I begged to be tested for vasculitis. My dr point blank said I didn't have that. I found another dr to run a specific blood test that had shown I was anca positive. That dr referred me. I tested positive for gpa vasculitis along with overt hypothyroidism that my labs had shown 7 years prior. For 7 years, I was treated with statins instead of levothyroxine. I filed 2 medical malpractice lawsuits and won both. Most American doctors only care about the money, not the patient. They are indoctrinated by big pharma. It is very well documented to never give hypothyroid patients statins due to the toxic effect on the kidneys. Levothyroxine usually reverses kidney failure in hypothyroid patients. Levothyroxine also lowers cholesterol. Pre 1960, high cholesterol was the diagnosis for hypothyroidism. Big pharma created a push for statins.

You could also ask your doctor if you're acute meaning your kidneys could begin working again or if your chronic meaning most likely they won't work (or regain function). I believe with God all things are possible and have seen patients regain their function if they were chronic as well as decrease the days of dialysis. I'm praying for you buddy. 24 is young to be a dialysis patient I know it's hard to change your whole life around you disease but hopefully it all works out for you!!

This is the first time I’ve heard of anyone treating their organs as being alive within themselves, other than me. I, too, am overcoming serious physical matters not of my own doing. At night I speak to my organs. Especially I’ve spoken to parts of my brain, too, because of trauma. It’s been important for my sympathetic system to know it can relax. I tell it things will be fine. I tell this to the pineal, hippocampus, limbic, etc. and tell them under the circumstances they were doing a great job. I tell this to my diaphragm that froze from grief, and my lungs spleen, kidneys, heart, pancreas, etc., too. It might seem silly but i think it is very important to know our bodies and the functions of its living components AND to comfort those components after fright and injury. Good for you for stepping out of the western box and into life! Thank you so much for sharing what you have here.

That's beautiful when I was a kid I used to put my awareness into my feet 8 could just be in my feet or my tummy or my arm. I had forgotten that. They say if you take an organ out if a sick person and put it into a test tube or whatever the organ recovers. But in the body iuts getting attacked or in bad circumstances to survive. And they are all like a colony of cells all alive and individual and cooperating together. I love this. Thank you for your comment I am going to think about that later and see if it helps.

I hope this video will get more views. At 65+ years I am on zero prescriptions. My family has had horrible experiences with traditional Western medicine so I opt for functional/ holistic medical care. In November 2020, my brother was having chest pain, he went into a hospital in Southern California. They gave him a stress test and contrast dye test. He never made it out of the hospital and died that day after their tests. He was 48. What happened to this man is sadly not a rare event. My dad died of a medical error. An uncle had surgery on the wrong side. My cousin with stage 4 cancer was told to "eat or drink" whatever she liked. "Diet has no effect on cancer. So she ate mostly fast food and soft drinks.. Of course, she died. Besides food, what traditional doctors don't tell us is how important emotional healing, forgiveness and gratitude are for our health.

My dad is 62 years old and is in the last stage of kidney disease. He is diabetic and recently just started dialysis he has gone through 3 treatments. I'm afraid the stress and anxiety is getting the best of him even though he is trying his hardest to keep a positive mind through it all. Doctors and hospitals have failed him. I would love to learn more about this treatment in hopes of helping my dad. He is still young and he is a fighter. I don't want to lose my dad😪 this has been extremely hard and stressful. We need real help.

Watch some videos on PKD, Berberine and Resveratol and Quercitin are some supplements that shrink the cells too. Best of luck.

I'm very happy for the doctor's recovery. I will say this in addition. I'm 61 years old. I've been vegan for 6 years. I changed after what I saw the Standard American Diet do to my parents and grandparents. I was a caregiver for 17 years to my parents. My maternal grandmother was in a nursing home during 7 years of that time. My grandfathers passed away prior, one before I was born. My other grandmother lived with my aunt as her caregiver for about 10 years. All of these people suffered from high blood pressure and some form of heart issues (bypass/stroke/TIA/valve replacement). They all took high blood pressure medications from about age 40. My father lived to age 78 and my mother to age 80. My maternal grandmother lived to age 92. My paternal grandmother lived into her 80s. My grandfathers died much earlier before the advent of all of these high blood pressure medications. None of my relatives were told to change their diet, other than to eat a banana every day for potassium and to limit salt intake. Even those who lived to old age were debilitated by clogged arteries (arteriosclerosis) and side effects of long-term use of medications. It is so much easier to change to a vegan/plant-based diet than to persist with eating animal products to the point that the cumulative effects will be clogged arteries and cardiac events by age 60 or so. A dear friend of mine went into the hospital for a stent procedure after suffered shortness of breath. She called to tell me she was having the procedure. I was to visit her the next day. I never spoke to her again because she passed away. Her body was sent to the morgue for 3 months while authorities tried to locate her emergency contact--her niece--who had moved from the address given. My friend was 63. I tried to get her to go vegan with me many times, but she never would. The doctor did not state what kind of diet he ate in this video. But my guess is that it was the Standard American Diet full of animal products. That way of eating will catch up with people. The agony of the health problems caused by this way of eating is not worth it. Young people boast of the carnivore diet, etc. and refuse to give up meat. They think these ailments spoken of in this video are just the consequences of aging rather than diet. But they are wrong. More should be done to educate young people about diet so they can avoid what happened to this doctor.

Hello, Roz! Thank you for your insight. We do agree that there are many factors i.e., diet, exercise, lifestyle habits that contribute to one's overall health. This is why we believe that a more holistic approach to treatment that takes all of these factors into account, instead of simply prescribing medication, is important.

@@EWGroupOfficial Thank you for this video. My father had bypass surgery on a leg vein around age 62. My mother had open heart surgery at age 79. None of my family members were overweight. My father smoked occasionally one cigarette after dinner if he didn’t fall asleep right after dinner. Also, no drinking of alcohol. So the only real factor in the cardiac issues was animal products. I would not wish open heart surgery on anyone. I guess people think it won’t happen to them. But it will, eventually, if death doesn’t occur for other reasons. So much easier to eat a vegan or whole-food/plant-based diet. In the US, we are blessed with so many food choices. Why people insist on eating like cavemen, I’ll never know.

  • @ineedhoez

    @ineedhoez

The only thing you are missing is that animal products were not the problem. High insulin was the problem. Eating in a manner that doesn't trigger high insulin is the central issue that healthy plant based diet. If you went vegan and ate bread all day, you wouldn't have seen such improvements.

  • @rozchristopherson648

@@ineedhoez Insulin affects weight gain by causing excess calories from carbohydrates be stored as fat. Fat clogs arteries. Clogged arteries are the problem. Arteriosclerosis. People block their arteries by consuming animal products and/or overeating. Vegans can block there arteries as well by overeating and having excess calories metabolize as artery clogging plaque. The best thing to do is eat a vegan whole-food/plant-based diet, combine that with intermittent fasting of eating within a certain window of time daily, and exercise. My father went missing for 4 days back in 1992. He had had a major stroke while going the bank. He didn’t know where he was and slept on a park bench until found days later. At age 62, he had bypass surgery on a leg vein. My father lived 6 more years after his major stroke and passed from a massive stroke. My mother had open heart surgery to replace a valve and passed 6 months later due to complications. . My grandmother spent 7 years in a nursing home due to falling from TIAs. None of these people were overweight. All took high blood pressure medications from about age 40. Also of them had clogged arteries. The culprit was not insulin or high carbohydrates. The problem was the CUMULATIVE EFFECTS of eating an animal based diet for a lifetime. Sorry, but I’ve had too much direct experience. I’ve seen what happens. No one can tell me anything until they have lived what I’ve lived through.

How do you know its animal products causing health issues? Can I eat battered and deep fried vegetables everyday? Or is it the battered and deep fried that is the problem? Is it the candy and donuts? The processed food with preservatives and chemicals? Native Americans ate Buffalo, deer, and elk. Did they look unhealthy?

Indeed, finding a way to be grateful for what we unknowingly take for granted is psychologically difficult. So far at 78, I find that gratitude for what life has given can transform suffering and even put having to eventually die into perspective. Great also to know that kidney failure is not always irreversible.

So far, I'm doing well with natural therapies. I'm 83 yrs. old and it's worked for me. I've never talked to a dr. who really knew what he was doing. Indeed it is! Dr. Michael's recovery shows the importance of treating illnesses in a more complete and holistic manner, taking all other aspects such as mental and emotional well-being into account.

You just listed all the reasons to avoid hospitals. Covid has exposed them big time. I had 5x bypass surgery also in June 2016 and in Aug had to have a stint to fix the failure of the bypass. Hospital told me the stint was needed in a small blood vessel in the back of my heart. The stint card they give you to show other hospitals, etc said the stint was in my left main. Also was stage 4.5 with CKD but to the surprise of my docs I'm been stage 1 since 2018 thanks to not following their recommendations. Owe it all to answered prayer and not talking to my body.

Interesting video. There should be more of such videos revealing the approaches to regenerate the kidneys and other organs through non traditional medicine.

What a traumatic journey through iatrogenic disease, but what an incredible outcome. Not really incredible because as Hippocrates, I think, said, "Food is medicine." I have believed this for a very long time. I've juiced off and on and will be doing so again as my tests just revealed stage 3b. I have to get serious about helping my body to repair itself, my kidneys in particular. Our US western medicine is diseased-based, not wellness-based due to corporate greed. Thank you for your wonderful story of hope and so very glad you attended that conference in San Diego!
