Ғылым және технология

The Thanos SE claims to make my gimbal feel weightless and reduce footstep bounce. But does it work?

I bought this vest but walking shots are too shaky even in ninja walk that makes me very disappointed. could u tell me how u get smooth footage while walking , or we need to fix the spring?

Do you think there could be a way to kind of make a waist belt and attach the spring arm to the side? Similar to the way the tiltat float works

Hi friend! Very nice video! One question. You show using the thanos while handheld. On the video, i cant seem too see what you have attached the fx6 to the rig with?

It was just the 1/4-20 adapter that they give you with it that usually screws into the bottom of the gimbal I've just screwed it into the fx6 tripod mount. I'd definitely recommend fluid head or something instead though

Great video. I just picked this item up today. I'm thinking it may be a faulty model... No matter how loose I make the 2 knobs on the arm, both segments still point upward. I can push them down with some force, but then they pop right back up. Am I doing something wrong, or does it sound like I may have gotten a dud and need to return?

The springs in the arms will always be springy. They'll always want to point upward. You just need to balance that spring force with how heavy your camera is

02:35 Is a 1/4 inch screw strong enough to handle the 8 kilos plus the shakes?

So far yes. It doesn't seem to be under much stress since the gimbals arms are dealing with all the real movements

What is the handle grip setup on the right side of your RS3 rig? It looks like a solution I feel could work for me

It's a tilta rosette to rosette and then another rosette to rosette but angled. Possibly called a dog bone by camvate? I got them both off Amazon

Hi! thanks for all the info, i have a question: what is the minimum vest size that you can get adjusting the straps? Is it suitable for small women? thanks!

Not sure how to say exactly how small but I'm not a big dude and it can definitely get too tight for me if I reign it fully in. I'd say it was probably prototyped by people with pretty small frames so it should fit mooost people. Could always get it off Amazon and return no questions asked if it doesn't fit?

nice review, have you used this without a gimbal in order to have a more "natural" movement maybe? most cameras have stab and i was wondering if this could be a solution cause my rig is still 4,5 kg .... have you filmed anything in this way? you think it would worth use it without a gimbal? thanks :)

Yeah I tried it out as a 3rd arm for "handheld" and it definitely works. You'd want some kind of dampened ballhead or bowl on top of it though to let you still point in any direction you want. Without a gimbal it's movement is a little stifled

Basically restricted. Because of the way the arm connects to the gimbal or camera it can't go in every direction smoothly or 360. So a head of some kind would fix that

Great Video.. i am right now in a "Review Stage"... >> Review/Research and decide tp Purchase a Few Products... 1- Gimbal... Zhiyun Crane 3s or DJI RS3 Pro 2. Gimbal Vest... Over Head Spring or Frontal Spring... I saw you used the Zhiyun Crane 3s.. but now you are using the DJI RS3 Pro...

Thanks! The crane 4 just came out so that might be something to look into also. I definitely like the rs3 though. Way more comfortable to hold than the crane 3s and the arms flex way less too. As for easyrig or front spring it kinda depends. The easyrig will probably take out more footsteps and give you more freedom of movement for the camera BUT you'll have to mount the gimbal upside down or use a ring

@@BuyersGuyd Crane 4 is for Lesser Loads.. thou if I plan to buy the RS3.. Crane 4 and RS3 has similar Weight Load... I love the Crane 3s because of how heavy Load it can handle... its just sad they are not Upgrading Crane 3s and RS3 is not to the Level of Crane 3s in Weight Load

my Camera Rig... 1. Canon R5c 2. Filter System... NiSi C5 Mattebox 3. Zoom Lens - Tamron 24-70mm and Cine Zoom Lens 4. Focus/Zoom Motors 5. Possible V-Mount Battery... Can the Crane 4 handle that.. lol

Don't have the crane4 but Id wager the rs3 could. The 35-150 is pretty damn heavy and the fx6 is much longer which makes it harder to balance than a more dslr shape like the r5c. If you want to be sure though you might have to try and find someone with the exact setup or close
