With vocals like that your bound to achieve great things. Crazy how he was that good even before debuting or having any experience in the industry. He gained confidence quickly.

It's interesting how they showed the performances of Shownu, Jooheon, Hyungwon, Minhyuk, Wonho & Kihyun first. I don't know if thats a pure coincidence or they where memorable and looked good together in that order.. so I don't know how that happened.. but it's somehow satisfying ~

@@khgirl8588 no it’s actually true what they’re saying. Starship already knew the final line up, so a lot of things from no mercy are staged and scripted. Back then a lot of viewers boycotted Monsta X even tho it’s not their fault.

I think the judge did what he was supposed to do. If they only gave good feedback the performer won't be able to fix there flaws cause they wont know them.

@@hannahharris5461 I'm fine with constructed criticism but if you watch jonghyun singing it he sings with a rushed desperation also. Jonghyun was also singing in agony. Remember not all judges know every idols song. The song is supposed to be longing and desperation. A lot of the time the judges dont even know certain songs. If you listen to jonghyun singing it is rushed so it makes it seem like it shows desperation. Not all judges know what there talking about either. Everyone has different opinions on singing. So we have the right to also criticize his opinions.

I know omg he completely nailed it! And I felt like that one judge completely misinterpreted the whole being “rushed” thing. To me it felt like it fit perfectly with the song because it is about pleading someone not to leave so of course it would sound “rushed”. Sure it could be seen as a flaw but it made it more heart wrenching

Where are the members now? SHOWNU - He made the final and is now apart of Monsta X as the Leader, main dancer and lead Vocalist. WONHO - He also made it to the finals and debut in Monsta X as the visual, lead Vocalist and lead dancer. Unfortunately on the 31st of October 2019 he got into a drug scandal and left the group. As of March 14th 2020 he has been cleared of all charges. On the 9th April 2020 he signed with Highline entertainment as a soloist and producer. He has since debut with mini album "part. 1 Love Synonym". Minhyuk - He made the final and is now apart of Monsta X as the sub Vocalist and visual. Kihyun - He made the final and is now apart of Monsta X as the main Vocalist. Hyungwon - He also made it to the finals and debut in Monsta X as the visual, center, sub rapper, sub Vocalist and lead dancer. Jooheon - Jooheon also made it to the finals and debut in Monsta X as the main Rapper and sub Vocalist. He has changed his stage name from JOOHEON to JOOHONEY. Changkyun (I.M) - He joined the show a lot later on. I.M made it to the finals and debut in Monsta X as the lead rapper, sub Vocalist and Maknae of Monsta X. Seokwon - Unfortunately he didn't make the cut to debut. After he left Seokwon joined the military to do his enlistment, after he got back he started dancing again, there hasn't been any new information on him. His Instagram is 'choiseokone1' #GUN - GUN didn't make it into the group. After he left GUN took part in 'Show me the money 5' where he was eliminated. Since then he has released many songs solo such as 'beep' 'Red Light' and 'Park'. His Instagram is 'sharp_gun_94' Yoonho - Yoonho also did not make it to the group but as of February 2017 he debuted in VAV as the main Rapper, main dancer, sub Vocalist and visual. He has also changed his stage name to 'Ayno'. Minkyun - Minkyun didn't make it into the group. After he left he went back to training and on 3rd August 2017 he debuted in ONF, he is the lead Vocalist and sub rapper. Yoosu - Yoosu also didn't make into the group. For those who don't know, Yoonho debuted under the group VAV, with the name Ayno. So if y'all haven't heard of them, they are amazingly talented and Yoonho (now Ayno) is happily performing after so many years of training. ☺️💜

They have debuted! Yoonho is is in VAV with the name Ayno. And Minkyun in ONF too. And #Gun is a solo artist.

Kihyun’s performance making my breathe hitch up and heart beat so fast as if i am the one... singing... the one who’s in pain... i can totally feel it

I kind of regret watching this knowing who's gonna debut and who's not. I don't know how to express it but I think many of u understand my feeling ;(

Bean when i introduced my best friends that are some of the best singers in school to Monsta X and i try to show off their main vocals, i just show them Kihyun's Hyeya and theyre like, i dont know what hes saying but this is so good

Did you see his other version in the Masked Singer? The song is 'Y si Fuera' J WAS NOT the original singer. Please listen to the ORIGINAL. @@aura7627 It's his. He bought the instrumental of Alejandro Sanz and made all the lyrics. As a spanish I can tell you the lyrics are totally different and Jonghyun eats the version of Sanz. He sings the song slower that Jonghyun but with a lot of emotions. I prefer Hyeya over Ella tbh

The "dude" who said it is one of the country's most respected vocalists who actually knows what he's talking about. He was giving Kihyun constructive criticism because he acknowledges his talent and wants him to do better. It's what mentors do. Also, I've been waiting for their collab since No Mercy, just saying.

I love #gun too but I feel like he was more successful if he was a solo. I feel like he would be shadowed by Jooheon if he was in the group just looking at how much attention was given to Jooheon rather than #Gun. He's doing so fk'n well right now as SMTM5 our #gun~~~

Actually iin Korea talking about people's weight isn't something considered as "rude". A friend of mine is quite chubby (but still one of the most beautiful girl I had the chance to meet), and peoples often tell her to loose some weight: this shows a sort of consideration for your friend, in Korea, she said.

Yoonho aka Ayno (VAV) has come a very long way since No Mercy Days..I can’t help but just smile and feel proud of him every time he performs.
