🎣 Fishing Adventure: Chasing Kingfish and Making the Best of It! 🌊
Join us for another day on the water as we set out to hook into some Kingfish off the coast of West Central Florida. While the Kings may have been playing hard to get, we didn't let that stop us from having a good time!. although, one might say I was a little angry toward the end.
First, we loaded up on live sardines and decided to put them to good use as chum. We trolled 4-6 knots over prime structure and channel edges. We even tried the ol' "bumping in and out of gear" trick to entice those elusive kings as we passed pods of bait.
We did everything that we thought would work at the time justing live bait and spoons. Lessons learned for next time? We're thinking spot lock with the trolling motor, a steady chum slick behind the boat, and letting the fish come to us! 🎯
