Monster track. Would need to hear it on 50,000 watts of power. The delicate acoustic licks with the driving dark melodies behind/below and the sing song bathed in effects. The lyrics seemingly misanthropic.

Im so glad this song exists because i was inordinately worried that these sisters didnt like each other for some reason and i even watched interviews with Alissa to see if she ever mentioned Jasamine

Not knowing who they were, I saw them live at a festival in Austn, TX. I walked into their set as they transitioned into this song. Along with the visuals and their stage presence, I was mesmerized. I find the song to be tragic.

Love this band. Love this track. Their first studio album turned 8 years old today, and this song kind of takes me back to their grittier textures when they had some other members. I listen to this track the most on Motherhood, though.

Not used to no joy's music, but I find it great! It really changes and brings something new. (Btw if you find it "cacophonic" I figured out in 2 minutes it's actually their whole thing, the "messy" part of their art.)

Im shocked at the amount of people who dont absolutely love this, but I think it may be an audience issue. The song gives me post-bm/blackgaze vibes which may just be a strange departure from most of what No Joy puts out

I get what they're doing and what they're going for, but I'm having a super hard time feeling it. I'm not able to appreciate it. However, their effort deserves merit. Any effort does.

What happened to this band? They were such a powerful, heavy, dreamy shoegaze band, and now...this is just a mess. Why'd the original band leave? Or did they get fired? Very disappointing.

Ok so there is actually shoegaze in the new album, it's just reaaallly toned down alot in favor of electronics. If you've been following since their Creep/Slorb releases, everyone saw this coming. They are my favourite band ever and my favourite album is 'Wait to Pleasure'. I can definitely see why some people would be put off to their new direction, but I appreciate literally everything they have released because they are ALL good in their own right.
