No, Jessa Duggar Seewald Did Not Get an Abortion | Ep 762

Today we're starting off by talking about Jessa Duggar Seewald and the blatant lies that the Left is pushing about her and the miscarriage she tragically suffered over the holidays. Leftist outlets are trying to convince people that Jessa actually had an abortion "whether she wants to admit it or not," because she had a D&C following the miscarriage. The problem, aside from the cruelty, is that that's not how a D&C works. We set the record straight and highlight the lies that the media are putting out. Then, we discuss Paris Hilton’s cover in Glamour UK, where she revealed that she not only had an abortion at age 20, but also has frozen 20 embryos with her husband that she seems to have no interest in pursuing. The reason? They’re all boys and she wants a girl. We discuss the selfishness and hypocrisy of this perspective. Then, we discuss Woody Harrelson’s SNL monologue from last weekend, in which he claims Big Pharma bought out the media to push the jab. The media, naturally, began to call him a conspiracy theorist. We look at some examples of similar COVID “conspiracy theories” and what ended up happening with each.

I'm a surgical tech and yes, a D & C is NOT an abortion. Just clearing contents out of a woman's uterus. Usually remains of an already deceased baby/miscarriage. And sometimes, like you said, it has nothing to do with pregnancies; it could be anything that just needs to be removed that could be harmful to the woman. But it has NOTHING to do with voluntarily killing your healthy baby in the womb, NOTHING. These people are wicked liars. Just disgusting.

Your a surgical tech., then you should know a D & C can absolutely be an abortion and that is exactly what Jessa had. She states she had not miscarried but the fetus would not survive so she had a D & C before she gad a miscarriage because of her history of “hemorrhaging” not sure what she meant by that, any woman could hemorrhage severely during miscarriage. Fact is, abortion is healthcare, and the government and politicians have no business involved between a woman or anyone and their doctor.

My mom had a miscarriage when I was seven. She and dad were trying to make baby number three when she miscarried. It was a bad time for all of us, but mostly for mom. She was far along enough to where they had to perform a D&C on the dead baby and amniotic sac. My grandparents took me and my brother out for donuts while mom and dad were at the doctors. When we got home, mom was sitting on the couch in a blanket and it was clear that she was crying. She kept me and my brother home from school because she wanted to hold on to us. If she was depressed after, she didn't show it to us kids. She's a strong woman. Two years later, my little sister was born, but I still wonder about the baby we lost. This whole thing makes me furious because the media is deliberately being stupid. They know full well that D&Cs are used to remove dead babies from the womb. They’re going after Jessa because she’s a pro-life Christian. They think that they’re “owning” Christianity. Despicable. 😡

Many years ago my brother and his wife had a miscarriage and had to have a dnc. When he got the bill it listed the procedure as an abortion. The wording caused a second wave of grief. Alabama has since then redifined these procedures to their exact meanings and doctors bill them as such. People need to be educated before they protest. Even if the tools and procedures are the same…the intent is different. Jessa did not have an abortion. She did not kill her baby. I’m so sorry, Sewald family.

Finally, as used by abortion advocates, the term “pro-choice” is both inaccurate and dishonest. In an abortion, at least three people are directly impacted: the mother, the father, and the child. The pro-choice argument is that only one is entitled to a choice. Additionally, it has never been a part of their agenda to protect any choice other than abortion. They don’t lobby for women to have the legal right to be prostitutes or use crack cocaine. Yet these laws, and thousands of others, deny women “the right to choose” just as much as laws preventing abortion would.

Two things... the medical term for a D&C is abortion, sorry to say. The right might not like the term, but it's the medical term for the procedure. People who are anti abortion, need to find a new phrase (ie terminations of viable pregnancies or something like that) because the problem is that when you outlaw abortion, you outlaw procedures like this that are potentially life saving for the mother. If there was even a .0001% chance that fetus wasn't dead, the procedure would have terminated the pregnancy. Jessa is lucky she lived in a state that allowed her to have the procedure. We all knew that when Roe v Wade was outlawed, and those trigger laws took effect, women were going to die because of procedures like this that doctors were now forbidden to do. Secondly, it's not 'the left' that is saying this. It's the medical community. It's the medical term for the procedure.

Thank you for addressing this Allie and for being so passionate about it. This irritates me so much when they say this! Miscarriage care, and ectopic pregnancy care, are not abortions! The left/pro choice/pro abortion, whoever, do not understand that abortions (that is, induced) intentionally kill a baby in the womb before removal. Miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies have already resulted in a dead baby naturally (not intentionally), and the removal is necessary, but it’s not an induced abortion. They need to stop comparing them to make themselves feel better about saying abortion is okay. I even had someone tell me my treatment for my ectopic pregnancy was having an abortion. Like no, it’s not! And I’m not gonna sit here and listen to you tell me I had an abortion, when I in fact did not. Also, I had a conversation with a woman yesterday who was saying that induction of labor and c section is abortion. Like what?! That is not true. Sure, induction and c section are methods to remove an already dead baby produced by induced abortion, but inducing a live baby or removing a live baby through c section is not an abortion! That is birth! I do not understand the logic of these people. Another thing I might add…when Chrissy Teigen said she had a miscarriage no one questioned her or said she had an abortion. But then she actually came forward and did say that she in fact had an abortion. Again, no backlash, as far as I can remember…

Jessa: I'm so sorry about your miscarriage, I'm praying for you and your family!! Please, disregard these people who believe this, they're ignorant, may God bless them with truth, and knowledge! You're a beautiful soul, great mommy, daughter, sister, and friend! -keeba Sims, Alabama....

Why are people calling a D&E a D&C? I had to have this same procedure done when my baby died at 5 weeks and i was forced to carry my baby for another almost 2 months before they would surgically help. 2002

I am curious would Paris Hilton think the surrogate for her baby had all rights and could have had an abortion at any time while she was pregnant with her baby or would the baby’s life suddenly be more important?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am a Christian, but I truly feel medical conditions and treatments should be between a patient and a doctor, not legislature. There is a reason this country was founded with a separation between church and state. We are free to practice the religion of our choice and should be able to make decisions about our bodies. IMO, Jessa did nothing wrong. People can be so ugly in their criticism of others. I am very against forced birth. Legislators have not gone to medical school. Prayers for Jessa and her family.

I guess the state lawmakers need to say specifically that INDUCED ABORTION OF LIVING HUMANS is illegal in their state. Because evidently, just saying “abortion” allows them to jump on any medically necessary procedure that removes a baby who died of natural causes. Good grief. The heartlessness is immeasurable.

I am very glad that Jessa was afforded the opportunity to have a D&C. There have been women who were not since Roe versus Wade was overturned. The poor were woman in Texas almost died from Sepsis. The pregnancy was not viable. There was no amniotic fluid. I wish Jessa had spoken about this. She is pro life as am I; however, there must be changes made so that all women are afforded the opportunity to obtain a life saving procedure without doctors being fearful of being convicted of a felony.

My hope and prayers for Jessa is that God will be with her and her family during this trying time. And those who are bullying her will get there come uppance. I as mean as it sounds; I hope when something tragic happens to those individuals in their lives I hope somebody blames it on them too; I hope that they are ridiculed, bullied and mocked just like they do to other people. In my book people who behave like that don’t deserve sympathy. And I know it’s not Christian to say that. But I’m getting tired of grown adults who know better; just miss treat people because they think they can. I think they need a taste of their own medicine.

Prayers going out for jessa and her family 🙏🏻💕💕 I’ve questioned my dc from miscarriage for 8 years it’s horrible. It’s a mind trick for sure what if I didn’t give it long enough even though I know deep down it was not developing and didn’t have a heartbeat my heart goes out to her and I’m crying now. Much love thanks for speaking out for her Allie

I’m a little older than Allie, and I remember when Paris was in her early twenties. Absolutely true, she had every resource in the world, no doubt. At that time she also had a career of her own starting up in the reality television world. That’s probably what she was worried about. Of course she could have had the baby.

No I think every woman who needs compassion and kindness. When they lose baby I had to have an abortion to save my life. My husband and the doctor made the decision. It was heartbreaking one. Making women feel guilty when you don’t know their medical history. Is crummy thing to do. My sympathies to Jessa and her family.
