Hello Friends! lets practice one of the very diifucult dessert to make, Macaroons!
Using one egg white only and no need waiting for drying process. I baked two kinds of macaroons, Matcha and plain flavor at same time.
For coloring i used Powder just to avoid collapse of merengue. If you can't find powder color, you can use jel type coloring .
Now some video suggest to use baking sheet, but in my experiece i recommend silicon mat.
If you are living in Japan you can buy silicon mat in Hyakuen shop which i used until now.
****Take note your egg white weight will depends all the ingredients you need to make macaroons.
In making cocoa and matcha flavor, you can add 5 to 8 grams depends to the matcha/cocoa grade you have
Pre heat your oven for 120*C (I used electric oven not gas)
now if youre oven is too hot for 120* Make it 110*C
Friends! this is really important,, "Know your oven Mood", because we are diffirent type of oven even if we are same electric used.
In this recipe we need
(for matcha)
38 gram of eggwhite
38 gram of granule
38 gram of no skin almond powder
38 gram powdered sugar without cornstarch
5~8 gram of matcha powder
For Plain macaroon adding food color
35 gram eggwhite
35 gram granule
35 almond powder
35 gram of pwdered sugar without Corn starch
