No Death & No Bonfire Guide - Dark Souls Remastered

Ойындар

How to beat Dark Souls 1 without dying and without ever lighting or resting at a bonfire, including resting at the lordvessel (with the exception of offering the lordsouls to it to gain access to Gwyn). DS1 Deathless, no bonfire entails no leveling up, no attuning spells, no fast travel, no reverse hollowing, no kindling and no checkpoints. Any% main game. So no DLC or optional bossfights.

Yeah 2 definite choke points. It helps to get a character to duke's archives and just practice duke skipping over and over and over again. And as I explained in the video, use screenshots for the firebomb trick against the bed of chaos. Makes a huge difference.

This is funny: at 1:08:46, you can see how the T-rex butt turning makes his tail juddery. That's not Press' computer running out of processing power, that's the programming of the game. ZullieTheWitch (If you're not watching that channel yet, fix that) showed that to save computing power, enemies don't have the animations fully load when they aren't in your FOV. Apparently Lost Izalith is so incomplete that they didn't even fully calibrate when those enemies are in your line of sight.

Ah yes, that's right. Not relevant for this run of course, but that would be another checkpoint. Actually there is yet another namely the bridge at the very start of the painted world

I have actually done that a long time ago before I even started uploading on this channel. However that was on NG+. On regular new game that is really really extreme. No weapon upgrades, no leveling, no estus shards, no item shop, etc. That's practically a no hunter's dream run type challenge.

Great content with a lot of information put out. I would add popping 1 humanity before any mimics, as it increases drop rates a lot. Still, i can understand the need to preserve those in case of getting hit.

Pro tip, there's an even easier way to dodge Nito's sword dance. If you're two handing a weapon and block with it, your legs spread wide enough to change your hit box to the point that it won't hit you. You don't have to worry about timing rolls at all then.

anyone else get incredibly stressed by how he was just running across the roof beams with the guardians when one mistake resets the whole run?

At a certain point you stop being afraid of the gaurdians even with high stakes like that. In fact as long as you have a shield with 100% physical absorb and have mastered the art of never panic rolling, your pretty much garunteed safe passage through the roof beams. They aren't even as narrow as they seem the have more collision data than they appear, you can even walk between corners seemingly on nothing but air or mostly air. You can also manipulate the Gaurdians A.I. so the just walk off the beam and die it's pretty funny and an easy way to deal with most of them. But most of Anor Lando has potential to end the Run so that's why he made it a point to get it out of the way as soon as possible.

Yeah it did. Although, the fight is quite short with RTSR. So he had his opening attack which has 2 variations, the quick explosion in this case, and then he was able to 3 more attacks. Which were 3 butt slams in a row. Not that uncommon for him to spam that attack, but yeah it definitely was a very good pattern.
