This one's a long one but its worth talking a lot about Miss Crane. She's a fairly complex unit that requires a bit of understanding to use effectively. While she might not be the most essential support caster in existence that doesn't make her a bad unit by any means. She's quite useful for challenge content and opening up new possibilities in party structure and mystic code choice! If she will get a buff, that change her 30% charge into a timer which activates next turn - miss crane would've been an insane support.

I think one change that will benefit Ms Crane and every other supports, is a general system change to let Support NP be used even after the enemy in a wave is wiped off This way you can still use an AoE NP, wipe off an enemy wave and Ms Crane can still use her NP to give the buffs, NP charge and swap out in a single turn. Will definitely make her more useful in CQ and farming nodes

Just realized something. What if her NP is buffed to give charge at the end of the turn, instead of immediately? That'd make her immediately more useful. I think that'd enable BBG looping for someone like Morgan and potentially others (in that system I'd imagine her easily beating Arjuna in terms of damage, although I think in that system you'd be barely able to slot 6 5* CEs due to party cost (7 points left for remaining two servants combined at lvl 170, although still doable at lower levels with Mash).

Most cases ive seen people using Crane is to slape her a Super Scope and keep NP 2 times for the buffs

she doesn't even need super scope for double np you just need 50% + some crit start ces and she can np 2 times in a row

There is one thing u could do with miss crane in a normal double koyan + oberon buster looping setup (maybe it can be done with quick looping setup with some adjustements, i don't think it can be done with arts looping bc u're gonna need stars). If you have a miss crane with super scope or normal scope + max append 2, u can do the following: ->start wih miss crane + looper + koyan, use what u usually do for your looping, you'll need to use koyan's star bomb here ->np with crane, np with looper. Crane goes to the back of the party and brings the second koyan ->use your koyan's skills (including the star bomb), then order change miss crane back, then use her 100% battery ->np with miss crane, np with the looper. Crane goes to the back again and brings forth Oberon ->use your skills like u would normally do on the 3rd wave ->np for big oonga boonga damage, since oberon will double the 2 stacks of np damage that Crane gave to your looper (if you're using blackgrail Melusine, or someone else the damage will be really big) That's it. The BIG problem is that it requires a lot of party cost (3 SSR supports and maybe your looper is a SSR too), so u probably can't 6 CE with this comp. But there are a lot of events that you don't need 6 CE to farm

One thing I will add is by simply unlocking her mana loading and keeping it at level one saves you a Lore. Because they you don’t have to max her NP charge skill to level 10 to get her first NP off Edit: Also she really can help trivialize some 90++ farming content. If you’re willing to use up an extra 15 seconds or so in your farming nodes, Miss Crane paired with double Koyan and Oberon can push your damage dealers numbers over the edge

Problem with that is your party cost will be too high due to having 4 5* supports and your DPS (who's most likely 5*) ontop of your event CEs

With the amount of lores JP has gotten over the past year or so saving one on an SSR support is not that big of a deal.

I started an account on JP and I have 60 lores, after they released the appends they have been giving out more lores to compensate the new demand.

I think Miss Crane is the epitome of a "Win-more" unit. She's not very useful if you don't already have any of the premium supports, but she's only decent in Challenge Quests if you did have those supports with your Crane. And that's another thing too, She's one of, if not the only support who's worse if you're just borrowing her. You would need to own a Miss Crane yourself. If the NP gauge she gave everyone was on a delayed timer similar to Summer Carmilla's skill, she'd be better. At this moment, it's difficult to get the full use out of both NP effects without wasting one and/or getting only 2 turns of use out of them. Because the turn she NPs is the 1st turn out of 3.

I have 1600 quartz right now, I'll go for pity if I have to. Always liked watching those insane damage setups with her in Challenge Quests.

I wouldn't mind getting her just because she does something unique, but it will probably have to wait until after I have Koyanskaya and Oberon. I only have enough quartz to guarantee one of them, so saving as much as I can is a must.

Seems like a fun and interesting servant. I’m sure she adds a lot to various teams. Though think I’ll pass. I don’t have so many quartz that I can afford to splurge here.

If I already had a Castoria for a regular support I wouldn’t mind going for her, she seems very useful and fun to use when it comes to challenge and solo content

I'm very tempted by her but as a new player I really need to just buckle down for Castoria and Oberon. If I have the quartz for her rerun she's a definite keeper tho

I’ve had Ms Crane since her debut on JP, and she’s been a staple in my CQ team. I’ve also been using her in farming like the 90++ node, because she offers the much needed extra damage and the NP charge can make certain setup possible

I'm ready for her 😆 I want her simply because I like the story of The Crane both versions. Hopefully she comes home early

0:54 I did a single 10 pull and got her, I use her for quad support for stubborn farming and plan to use her to rotate the one MLB ox demon king I got from Y1 when I had to face card farm events, when Konyan and Obro put buster front and center.

so if left most servant is dps and mid servant is a buffer and ms crane(right most) is a buffer she buffs left most leaves and brings in 1st backline servant which can be chen gong as she stays at the rightmost backline. Now you can plug suit DPS in exchange for ms cran bringing DPS to backline right most and if the 1st backline servant is cheng gong you can have him kill off Ms crane bringing in 2nd backline character which could just be a debuffer that has 10/10/10 skills depending on which one has the debuffs and then have really low level and something that helps it die off fast or helps chen gong NP again so he can remove debuffer from the field and bring back your DPS which might be ready to receive mid support servants buffs again while enemies still have a debuff. Or you could just use miss crane to swap out another buffer and then plug suit the DPS out for someone like Arash that can remove themselves from the field in a few turns so DPS can be back and ready to get dual buffed by same 2 supports like a regular slingshot strat would be.

26:55 something you can also do is to use a servant with NP 2 or Higher as the DPS, use a bunch of charges on it and then use Crane's NP to fill the 200% gag. So use support 1 NP, Crane NP and than DPS NP, allowing you to fire NP 400% in turn one, without counting on OC CE. Let's say you have an Arcuaid with a 60% charge CE pluss 10% charge append, or a 50% charge CE and 20% charge append, use her 100% charge skill than support 1 NP, Crane NP and then a 400% charge Buster NP.

Don't see myself rolling for her, at least not on this banner, but i think shes definitally one ill try out via support during the event and see what i can come up with.

I got her on my second multi, first multi gave me a galatea spook. Hopefully this luck will stay for my castoria and koyanskaya rolls

She is very good because of that np, which gives you access to buff your main attacker alot, sadly with Morgan so closet i will be skipping, but maybe i can pull her on the gssr this year.

Koyanskaya, Oberon, Melusine, Morgan, Summer Kama and Summer Okitan for this year, and as I understand, you really want np3 or higher Melusine for the 90++ stuff. Even for np2 Melusine (and not Morgan or Okitan), that is 7 ssrs @~@ Crane is certainly appealing, yet low priority. Thanks for another guide, Khadroth!

My list is similar to yours, although rather than Okitan its Douman. Melusine is one I'm going to be investing in too, although I think for the higher np levels I'm going to maybe go for np2 on the first banner depending on how it treats me and perhaps np3 come December time.

@@zero1343 I might delay Melusine entirely to maximize my odds for Oberon (Kama and Okitan being an additional bonus). Morgan I can very comfortably wait on, given how many banners she gets. Thankfully, I already have Douman. While np2 would be great, that is a low priority.

I'll mainly be rolling for Nito and if I get a copy of miss crane I'll be balling

Some extra oomph for challenge quests would be nice, so I'm gonna give it a go. Won't break the bank for her, but here's hoping. Plus wizard hat wearing girls are great.

I will not be rolling for Miss Crane because I'll be spending my SQ on Ecchan instead. Nonetheless, I will be extensively borrowing her during Grail Live to facilitate my three-DPS high-point-bonus team. (The team will start with Tamamo Cat, Helena, and Lancer Eli, but I'll replace Eli with MIXA once I get her.)

I really, really wish she have a timer to give 30% charge next turn, instead of just giving it right away. With this, she could've turned vanilla Artoria into a bg looper. Uh, well, she can be used as "free" 4th support in farming anyway. Yes, you will waste her charge, but your dps will get another set of buffs in conjunction to other three supports, which will give you absolute maximum output on all three waves, albeit slow your farming somewhat. And anyway she is very useful in cq as is

I don't think her buff is strong enough to justify rolling for her over lb6 servants

She's fun, but the competition is too strong, with many fan favorites. So yeah, take care Miss Crane.

No Reserve Crane has the most expensive defensive option in the game: NP to get the hell out then come back It’s not super useful because of her kit but it saved me once. I wish she had a self cooldown reduction on her NP, easing buff applications on her rotation but alas she doesn’t. It’s not super easy to use her in a non-Arash/ChenGong way

miss Crane np only require 20 star too exist it doesn't consume the star btw

I have a question tho, is it worth it to np5 her? or will np2 be fine? her np dmg buff for ally remains 30% regardless of np level, the atk% tho. and her np charge at the end is 1 thing but let's face it, who goes giving charges at 500% 😅

NP2 should be enough if you really want to raise her NP level from NP1. NP3 if you want another extra 5% Atk up It's actually possible for Ms Crane to get 500% OC if you have someone like Morgan or those who can give OC buff and equip OC bonus CEs on MS Crane. A simple Morgan > Ms Crane NP chain will give her 500% OC and thus top up Morgan or the other attacker with 50% NP charge aside from other buffs, which can be really useful in CQs

Np0 is enough. You would get better damage upgrading NP lvs from other servants or summoning oberon.

Maybe there's a way, but the obvious big damage play would be to try and use both cranes to NP on turn one, have taunt and invincibility on your DPS for that wave, and have literally 5 supports worth of buffs on your DPS for turn 2. Problem is that if both cranes are out at the same time, they'd only get 10 stars each.... If the NP consumes those stars then you're out of luck.

This is painful. Theoretically, if I do get her, I could use her with my Spishtar to hit absolute bonkers level of damage if I get Koyan and Oberon, but the problem is that if I roll for her, I squander my funds for Koyan and Oberon. It is a doozie. I might just have to wait for the 25M download campaign, or hope to get lucky on the GSSR.

Here's my thoughts on Miss Crane: I believe she's a bit too niche, too unreliable, and kind of counters herself. She NEEDS for there to be 20 Stars on the field to use her NP, but for her to create them all with just her skill 1 very severely limits the teams she can be fielded in, though this can be alleviated with a Star Bomb CE. And here's the first bit of anti-synergy: because she wants to NP, the main DPS only has two cards available to take advantage of the stars on the field, and 500% is a bit too low to guarantee all 20 stars go to the DPS' card(s). Meaning you want MORE stars, but if you have all those star bombs you're tempted to use them to guarantee a triple Crit/ NP-Crit-Crit brave chain for the main DPS. The second bit of anti-synergy is in her NP that both wants to go before the DPS NP to give them the attack and NP damage boost, but also after them to give the charge. And this also feeds back into the first problem of having stars on the field that kind of went to waste because NP's instead of face cards were used. I believe either one of two changes would help her become a more reliable generalist support: Increase the amount of stars she generates with her first skill to 20 per costume, so she can NP while only wasting her own single star bomb in more general teams. Or changing her NP overcharge to a delayed charge that happens at the end of the turn instead of instantly, making NP chains more viable. There is one thing I think you didn't notice or if you did, never mentioned: Unlocking her battery append lets her get a full bar with just level 9 of her battery skill (or even level 6 append + level 8 skill), saving you from having to use a Lore on the second skill.

If only koyan and overon and melusine and (list goes on) were not also happening this year . ..

I hope I can get Her in 1 multi cuz I like Her design. I don't care about meta tbh.

She is great, I got her on JP and have saved 40 tickets for her. Her 30% NP damage does wonder with Oberon and her 50% Crit with gather rate does help with card damage. Also hot red head

I was wondering "hmm why don't people use her with double KoyanLight+Oberon?" then I realized, that if she's on the front line turn 1 you can't double buff the dps with a second Koyan until turn 2 so the dmg for turn 1 might not be enough but the dmg on turn 3 will be higher because of the atk and NP up... unless... is the 20% atk up + 30% NP dmg up equivalent to the 50% buster up?? fck I hate math
