Japan: We got top tier dollar store items America: Dollar Store be having tons of items made in China and also low tier quality As a American, Dollar Tree isn’t the best but you can get lucky with some things, you can get poster boards for $1 and like use them for big illustrations

I'll be honest, I get the most satisfied feeling of window shopping whenever you upload these videos. 😆 Relief of not wasting my money attempting this but I am happy when you do find items good quality on budget/cheap (doing these shopping challenges). 💞😉

Go to Daiso. There markers come in packs of 2 and its only $1.50! I got the whole set and they work like the ones Minori got! :) I hope this helps!

It also may be named something else as the one closest to me (still pretty far even by car) had its name changed to oomomo although the entire store and supplies stayed the same. Unfortunately, that specific store doesn't have many art supplies though :(

there are some Daiso stores in the US. The one by me is $2, unless otherwise specified. Not a dollar, but still pretty good. I got some really good quality pens and highlighters there.

I love these art store shopping hauls! I regret not going art supply shopping when I visited Japan last year. Granted I only started drawing again this year.
