To be fair. It sounds like the guy was playing around 3+ hours/day (1000 bots = ~30min, 1 hr DM, 1 hrs matches, 30 min demos, then some additional amount of time on utility/movement/etc) That's quite a commitment.

Thanks for the love bro! All I wanted to do was share my story and inspire others to work towards their goal. Hopefully with this video and the ones to come you can get to your goal faster than I did.
I appreciate the mental health segment for those who needed it I learned that lesson the hard way, and keeping that balance is very crucial. Stepping away, even for a weekend or something at least, will be much better for your future self.
This is exactly the video I needed, I watched so many „how to get better videos“ and yours really brought my motivation up, as well as it highlighted the things I haven’t done yet. Like reviewing my faceit demos, putting dm into my daily routine, and make sure I manage my time better for that consistent 1h, even if I don’t have much time. Thanks for the vid and keep it up

Amazing video!
Great video, while I am only average at the game it's interesting to see how such little things can lead to improvement. I started around 2014 maybe 2013 gaining 1.5k hours on a macbook air. At that time I was pretty conpetitive and often played long into the nights gaining level 5 on faceit. But because I neglected a lot of things I took a step back for several years. Around 2021 is when I decided to return and by 2023 I noticed a sizeable improvement. While I dont play Faceit or matchmaking that much anymore, how I play and my general performance in the game has improved. Right now im still getting my life settled so I am still trying to return to a competitve level.
Very well put together video. Getting back into CS since quitting when CS Source dropped. Helpful to be aware of your different points. Appreciate the lack of gambling sponsorship as well.

@@Ryderdie1 Yes you’re totally right. Especially when your teammates start blaming and bullying you for not preforming as well as they had hoped. Acting like this game is live or death, when in reality I just sat down to have some fun after a long day. But now I have to redeem myself because fuck that guy. And then after repeating that 5 more times you feel like shit, you stayed up too late, and you still have to do things irl. Well I’m here to say fuck your teammates, you’re all worth more than any game you play. Redeem yourself by making a good meal and getting some sleep.

As a fellow level 10, this is going to be my go-to video recommendation when friends want to get into CS or for friends who've been playing for a while and are struggling to improve. Excellent breakdown of the core skills needed, with good actionable steps on how to improve on them without going too deep into the weeds. Prefiring and crosshair placement are one of the most important aspects of aiming in my opinion, raw aim and spray control are super important but they aren’t going to get you instant frags that can turn the 5v5 into a 5v4 and swing the round heavily in your favour at the start
@Ryderdie1
Ай бұрын
You’re absolutely right about that and I honestly share the same opinion. Perhaps I should have emphasized that more during the video. Either way, thank you for the feedback!
Good shit
Good job
For gamesense ur own demos are great, but also what helped me a lot was watching youtube vids, demo reviews, mahone_cs type of channels, watching pro games and not just watching the kills but the minimap and see how and when they rotate and that kind of stuff. Ask yourself why and so on.. other than that u just have to play the game a lot and experience it for urself, but always ask urself why or what did i do wrong:)
Nice guide. I'm stuck between ~5-8k and very inconsistent, I could top frag one game but then have only 5 kills the next. I need to watch my demo's and adjust the radar as I didn't know you could see the entire map!

The best way to get out that level is focus on your crosshair placement no one in those elos has decent crossshair placement so you can get easy kills by simply not having your crosshair on the floor

@@BK_CS That's is true in most cases, but you'd be surprised how many players I met in my journey that hardly knew any utility and made it all the way to level 10. Ive taken such a long break from cs....i was really into csgo when i was in high school and 2 years after....so from csgo release till about to 2017 i was playing everyday....my friends and 1 brother stopped playing so i did too...just recently i got back into it and its so much fun now...me and my group have 2 maps we like (dust 2 and mirage) that we play seriously on and 2 maps we just fuck around on (vertigo and nuke)...messing around with friends is just fun and even when we play dust2 and mirage we still "shit talk"....guess the 7 year break made me like cs again...besides gives me a reason to not play league as much XD
now going to use this to get better at cs

Good luck bro! You seem to be in the same spot I was in 7 months ago. Honestly, you don’t even need to play as much as I did. Just dedicate some time everyday to play and you’ll get 10 no problem. Just be sure to be consistent
For improving game sence I aldo thinks its really important to pay attention to your teammates and what their doing, especially when you are dead. They gmcould just as well have been on the enemy team and now you get yo see how they play, what routes they take etc
Nice vid

Thanks bro! I like the think of it as a lot of hard work and dedication. Anyone can make 10 if they’re consistent enough!
As someone who knew all of these steps but I just can't be bothered to do them and I accept being lower skilled, I think the most important part of this video is that these tips can apply to any skill. Just be consistent by doing something, even a bit, every day. Always focus the most on the very basics. Try to analyze your fails. And most importantly, the #1 thing, have fun. If you're patient, you will get better. If you won't be #1, then at least you had fun.

People forget about the fun aspect of CS. It’s a video game that should be enjoyed, if you’re miserable, improving almost becomes impossible. Good point there.
