Jan, ALL your cards & 3D Makes are ALWAYS Beau-ti-ful! You need to stop being so hard on yourself! You showed us yourself that the background trees could STILL be seen a LITTLE bit even when you lined them up perfectly. The middle tree looks just fine. I'd absolutely LOVE to get that card. It would be one I'd treasure forever. Anything you make is heirloom quality - mantle toppers!

It's July 2020 in Ontario, Canada & it's 30°C. I was gardening & got so hot I came down to my air conditioned basement to cool off & have a cold drink & watch a couple videos. I watched your Christmas card videos using the star dies (amazing) & then I watched this one with the Christmas trees. BTW I am very fond of the green version. I don't want to make Christmas cards in July but I thought I should have an idea of what I want to do so I can order the product & have it on hand for when I will need to start. There are some lovely things in the 2020 mini holiday catalogue which I may get as well as what you used in these cards. You have some different layouts that I really like. Thsnks for sharing.

@@lynnhildebrand4896 If you look down in the section titled SHOW MORE you will see that Jan always provides measurements using Imperial rather than metric. They are perfect for our popular A2 size cards. (What we use in the USA is called Imperial. There are only three countries in the world that do not use metric and we're one of them! )
I always LOVE your projects! And, most of the time when you ask which we like, I end up choosing the one you like. This time I preferred the red sentiment...and I was screaming at you, as probably the rest of your followers were, I am sure, that you were doing it on the wrong side again!...thanks for the wonderful projects you find for us, and the mostly clear instructions! Congratulations on your newly wedded state!

lovely Jan love the green one , is it true that stamping up trimmer is changing and knowing more blades for the old ones , thank s
@janbcards
4 жыл бұрын
Many thanks, Robyn. Yes, there is a new Stampin' Up! Trimmer on its way. Demonstrators can pre-order during October, but no date has been given when it will be available for customers. I had the opportunity to play with the prototype when we were on the Greek Islands Incentive Trip in July. I can't wait to get my hands on it! Features I like: it cuts up to 17 inches, which is the approx width of our Grid Paper; it's an oblong shape with a larger base and straight sides; it has inches on the down bar; the scorer has a piece of "metal" around the actual "scorer blade" so it gives a much better scoreline. At £23 - the old one was £28 - it's amazing value! And no, there won't be any more blades for the previous trimmer. xx
Both are beautiful, but I love the red, !

Lovely card... but I was wondering why - with the back of the middle tree - you didn't choose to put the dimensionals on the back of the tree which is already mounted ON the card - and just the glue on the top and bottom of the white piece?? I like to choose the "easiest option" ;-) - but otherwise, just great - and I like your video. Also gave me the opportunity of checking out what Stampin Up is... as a Dane I didn't know.
@SAF57

of course, my "idea" only works if you wanted the three white trees on the back to "lay flat"... which I what I will do, when I try out a similar card ;-)

If I were to show my husband this video ..he would finally know, that I am not the only one who "puts glue on the wrong side"...haha, but you are luckier than me - I usually turn the whole card base in the wrong direction :-D

Many thanks, Sally. I really wish Stampin' Up! were registered to do business in Scandinavia. I hear from a lot of crafters in your part of the world. I did put Dimensionals on the back of the middle (raised) card, and then glues the top and bottom. When I get a bit more time I'll check my video to see where I've created the confusion. xx
