What a fun card design. I absolutely love the gray ink on the gray cardstock. It looks so elegant. I love the pink and gray together too. There's so much to love about this card.

Not sure how I missed this card Jan, but I just love it. I may put a small card or something on the inside to inform the recipient as to how to open the sentiment side. I've had to do that with another card I made & it worked well. I need to make one in the next few days. I'll only do the base of the card for starters to see if I can open it and reveal the other side......TYFS

Big thank you Jan, this is the first time I have seen this type of card it’s fabulous .I have an old wallet with elastic of my father’s that you put a bank note in and when you open it it’s moved to the other side, this card reminded me of that .x

Jan I so love your videos you share so much of your talent, I do have a little issue with you verbally saying all the measurements in inches and center miters. I would make things flow better if you just listed one of them on a paper and say the other one. Thanks for listening. Carol

Hello Jan, such a fascinating card! I couldn't figure out how it worked even after watching your video, so I had to have a go. Following your video tutorial, I made a quick template, and even when it is in my hands, it is amazing me how it works, such fun! Instead of marking with a pencil and cutting with scissors, I lined up the measurements on the Stampin' Trimmer, and cut down to the score line. For me, it was quicker and easier. I am going to find some stamps now to make a real version. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hi, Karen. I didn't use my trimmer because I thought it may struggle to go through double thickness of cardstock! I assume it cut through OK? It's a great idea because that guarantees a straight line. Many thanks for sharing your tip! ☺ ☺ ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

This is a really fun card Jan, with lots of stamping elements with it too. How would the recipient know how to find the messages or is that the aim of the card for the recipient to spend time trying to find the messages? I love the tone-on-tone stamping it makes a project look so professional and to use the markers pens to get the different colours on the sentiments. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O)

Appears that 6 x 12 cardstock is stamped on both sides, but you don't show or mention that in video. Is it stamped on both sides or am I imagining it?

Hi, Trudy. Right at the beginning, I show a plain piece of Smokey Slate cardstock when showing what cardstock was needed for the project and the measurements; and then at 2:30 I show the 6" x 12" piece that I had already stamped on both sides. I said rather than make you watch me do a complete 6" x 12" on both sides, I'd just show the smaller piece on one side. I'm sorry if you found this confusing! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

Great card but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how it works & I bet I wanted this video 12 times and have yet to figure out when the card is folded in the narrow fold what it is you are separating with your thumbs to get it to open like it does. It’s a great idea, I’m sorry I just don’t see who it works. I guess I’m just going to have to cut it to see.

Hi, Debbie. I'm sorry I can't find the right words to explain the mechanics without leaving you in a state of total confusion! When you open it, you take one white piece to one side and a piece of cardstock to the other. If you make one, and look down from the top as it opens, and you'll see how the mechanics work quite easily! ☺ Happy, crafting, JanB.
