Thank you Nivla for the review. This is on my travel list. My girlfriend did travel a few months back, and she brought me 4 whiskys back to me. It was on my list then too, but it was kicked back a few steps in favour for others. But next time I won't pass on it. 🤗

Always get a wiff of nutmeg on Craigallechie 13. It's one of my very favorites...complex, gloopy, and absolutely delicious. Cheers!

Indeed Happy New Year. This whisky is a nice start to the year, and if what follows can match it we are in for a VERY good year. All the best.

I bought this a few months ago. My first impression was not that good. Probably because of my expectations, but after a few glasses, the Craigellachie 13 surprised me again probably because of the opposite expectations… Now it’s up there with my favorite bottles 😊

Often it depends on what you have been eating (or drinking) before trying it. Good to keep revisiting whiskies to observe changes either in the bottle, or in your palate! Happy New Year.

Delighted to hear your opinion about this whisky. I've requested it some time ago, and it's been a pleasure to receive your insight towards this dram. As I coincide with you most of the time, I've been waiting for the review to decide wether to buy it or not. Many people say it has something "meaty" going going on about it. Good to hear from you in Uruguay. Is whisky expensive where you live? Here in Australia we pay a large amount of tax or duty on spirits so they can be quite expensive. Happy New Year.

Unfortunately yes Nivla, single malts are expensive due to taxes as well. Moreover, some are very hard to find, it's a small country and even though people consume whisky, they usually lean towards blended ones. Happy new year for you and your loved ones as well
