@@arslnadar6578 In live setting's its easy to get feedback/the mics playing up - headset mics are esp notorious for that - that being said this is a big gig/professional setting so maybe not? But it sounds like the mixing was kinda scuffed and the levels weren't set properly - like they turned Haewon up a lil after the first lines and then it seems like briefly tried to adjust the others but didnt really. Also u have to project - even with a mic in front of u - but it looked to me like most of the girls were doing that based on how they were singing - so I think whoever was live mixing maybe didnt hit the nail on the head F - it happens tho :( (at least could make out their voices). EDIT: ok had a listen again - doesnt seem like the levels were being adjusted live??? I think just Haewon starting off shaky - strange - normally someone would mix live and make sure it's good - maybe they couldnt hear it properly from where they were situated to adjust (but again big/pro event rip). Lemme make it clear tho Im not hating on whoever was mixing - just saying that i dont think it went quite right which is strange for a gig this big - Ive just listed what could have gone wrong from my experience/understanding to try and explain why - but im also a bit sympathetic cuz tech can just go wrong at the worst possible times - hope its better next time!~ amazing performance by the girls regardless (also liked the pre-recorded harmonies - cool blend).

Their live singing rate is arguably the highest among 4th gen groups. I do respect a group with the courage and confidence to sing live, as a singer it's essential to prove their capability.

HAEWON ALWAYS MAKE SURE SHE CRACKS SO EVERYONE KNOWS THEY ARE SINGING 100% LIVE.

Its funny how Nmixx is not even a year old covering a legendary group amd literally gets hate for it bcs they didnt bring the same vibe or did it powerful enough. Man give them a chance. They just lost a member bro, Imagine how hard it is to cope with everything after losing a beloved member 2 weeks ago. NMIXX sings in their own WAY AND VIBE . For Blackpink theres nothing left to prove they are already one of the legend in 3rd gen. Everyone that says that these girls did bad dont even bother to praise their vocals as whole team instead highlighting Haewon mistake in the beggining of this perfomance.

For blink, the way they sing live I think they have already paid homage to BP who is famous for performing on stage. And the other Gen4 groups, I thought they were watching the school sports dance, they didn't even dare to sing with the back tack, they were lip syncing. And I think that's disrespectful to the group

One of the legends in 3rd gen?! They are literally the biggest girl group in the world😂 Maybe a cover shouldn't get hated so much but this is the life, they made a cover of a popular group and that was a big risk, they didn't get negative reactions just from blinks but from the koreans in general too. Let be honest, the song didn't really fit them, the concept was just too strong from them and the people have the right to give their opinion.

The stage presence, the live vocals, the way they incorporated the O.O instrumental (Give a raise to whoever did that), and the "NMIXX" on the dance break truly show that *this is how you do a cover.* You not only sing it, *you make it your own.*

Not only did they nail the vibe of this cover, but they completely made it their own. Performance and production wise, this was amazing!

Can't we just appreciate NMIXX for making the efforts and covering HYLT, when they could have easily chosen some other girl group songs like their own company's sunbaenim TWICE (I'm a ONCE btw), MISS A, WONDER GIRLS........ and the fact that they were singing live!! And it doesn't have to fully replicate the original since it's a cover! (Also, I don't stan NMIXX but I hv heard the news of them losing a member uhm was it Jinni) so they might not have been that confident, but they still did their best!!!! what makes Blackpink's songs difficult to cover? I think the character of their voice, Blackpink has a strong character so the energy given is bigger. NMIXX has a different sound character too, they have performed Blackpink's songs well. But, it does sound a little strange because Blackpink's characteristics still can't be erased from memory. Not only NMIXX but several idols who cover Blackpink songs too. This is just my opinion...

thats because they have unique and deeper voices, roses voice is a bit easier as shown by lily, but the rest of them are hard. But honestly its not a problem because a cover is meant to be diffrent from the og, not sound the same.

Normally BP covers are lacking in energy, but not this one. I’m not surprised at all NMIXX is executing this very well without trying to sound like BP members 🤍

honestly, nmixx is a really great group vocal and stage presence compared to their 4th gen co groups. but i think bp song is really hard to cover because it needs a natural swag and charisma and stage control to sing
